I would have to say that this is perhaps less usual than most. Nevertheless, it does show the sorry state of mind of the CPS people.

Let us know clearly that the CPS and such agencies are not friends to mothers anymore than they are to fathers. They are a Law to themselves. The fact that they are staffed largely by women who are quick to shift responsibility from themselves and onto anyone handy is telling. Failing to consider evidence and failing to discover relevant facts before they 'blame' is par for the course.

Feminism is the driving force behind the training of these people. It is the dominant ideology. Blame is endemic. Disregard of sufficient evidence is endemic. While the occasional woman gets whacked by these scum, it is mainly fathers who suffer their ire. But, regardless of the disproportionate allocation of blame, the net result is the destruction of Truth and Justice along with Family.

But the question is, did the father really know the extent of his wife's insanity? Did he have a good understanding that the child was in danger in her presence? If he knew..then yes, he should be held partially responsible. If he did things (knowingly) to make her worse, he should be held partially responsible. If he understood the danger to the child, he should be held partially responsible.

Now shift the genders and consider the wider implications for say, DV. What you are saying is that women are partially responsible for violence in the home when the man does it.

How about child neglect? Both parents responsible?

On the one hand, spreading responsibility is diluting it. How far does one go? On the other hand, establishing the facts and recognising that - to use a metaphor - surfers are somewhat at the mercy of the wave's power, is necessary for a Just appreciation of the situation.

Personally, I hold BOTH parents totally, wholly, jointly and severally responsible for the welfare of their children.

It has become a huge societal problem mainly because BOTH parents are NOT considered this way and all sorts of interferences are created that reduce or extend the responsibilities of one or the other parent, or both, despite available evidence and fact that allow the situations to be appreciated properly.
