Where did you get this information? I just re-read her peice and I can't see anything that really clicks with what you're saying here.

Hmmmm. Perhaps my being florid hides the changes in attitude she talks of.

What is your take on it?

I basically see someone who's life-experience has shown them the futility of certain foolish ideas. I see someone who is ready to be further enlightened.

feminists anti second amendment stances are one of my biggest beefs with them

She seems like an ally to me. Unless I missed something in the article, it seems as if she is now an egalitarian, not a female supremacist. She may label herself a feminist but she is in the mold of Cathy Young, Wendy McElroy, etc. rather than the misandrists we confront here.

When she shouts' BACK OFF' to another woman who is bad-mouthing men and extolling the filth of feminist academic claim, maybe I will see her as an ally. Meanwhile she may prove to be amenable to engagement in conversation and discussion. But she has to put her gun down first !
