I belong to mgtow,the only problem's I seem to have is posting comment's,sometimes the site let's me and sometimes it doesn't.

It is a good site and forum.

Andy Man - dont forget such sites are the products and managed by men just like you and me - in other words men who work and have various commitments.

Such sites are not popular, dont make money for the owner to sit and make sure everything would work as on a corporate website.

Have you ever stopped to think how such websites are managed and financed?

Look at AM - it seems to be the premier site - in the world - and there are only a few dozen of us here!!!! And how does Marx maintain this website? Basically out of the kindness of his heart. As you may have noticed, he asks politely and discretely for financial support - even as low as the price of a beer once a month - and how many of us here actuallly contribute?!?

If we want to fight, gentlemen we have to get our act together and not expect a free ride. If men cannt even find 3 or 4 USD a month to contirubte to a site we use daily, learn a lot from and know it is not a business, then it is our duty to help the men who make such sites possible. If we all financially contribute then we have right to moan or complain.

Andy, I am not criticising you, I am just showing you how the objective situation looks like and to help you get things in perspective.

Perhaps I should paraphrase JFK "Ask not what such sites can do for you, but what you can do for them".

I'm a member on two MGTOW forums, low activity (as I'm here 95% of my online time) and haven't encountered this issue. It could be that you're on a similar IP pool to a previous member who abused the system so they're playing it safe? I know AM has had it's hack efforts, even death threats have been issued to me because I was able to keep a supposedly world-class hacker out (I am not that skilled so if I can keep the hacker out I doubt they're as super-dooper as they say they are). There are all sorts of reasons why an admin might take things to an extreme, but from the outside it's hard to see why.

Someone from this site, who is a member there, could contact the site owner, and ask why you were treat in such a bad way.

This isn't the 'Nice Guy' site, is it? I used to post on that, back in the day, finding novelty in being able to converse with those who would dare speak ill of women; as compared to manginas, who would place women on a pedestal. I came to find their views somewhat strong, however, and, fortunately, later on happened across a place with people far more on my level........

I subscribe to the MGTOW forums by rss so I get a lot of their posts through google reader but I am not a member of that site. I have nothing against the MGTOW guys but I have noticed that their is a serious clique mentality over there. They appear to be a bunch of rough guys enjoying themselves and I cannot fault them for that. They're guys being guys, cool. However the general attitude is much closer to the PUA crowd, 4chan, redditors, and fans of MTV's Jackass than to what I would identify as MGTOW.

Perhaps it was a bit stupid/naive of me, but I attempted to join MGTOW about 1 month before I found AM. I thought "Hey, a bunch of antifems who are ok with people being self-sufficient! This looks awesome!" I read through the recent posts, and agreed with a lot of what was being said, so I tried to register.

I was surprised when I still couldn't post even 3 hours later, but figured I was still in line. The next day, I tried to post again...and got the message that my IP had been banned. Mentally shrugging, I used a different email address and a work computer the following day, only to be banned yet again.

Now, I can't even make Visitor comments, which really sucks as I hate being just a lurker. I wish something could be done, but other than using a completely masculine-sounding email address and using my local library computer, I don't think there is. Even if I could only put a single post about how I fully support their efforts/sacrifices I would feel much better...

I'm surprised they automatically kicked you off though, Andy Man. I wonder what made them think YOU were a fem or troll. My mistake was using 2 emails that had my first name in them...idk what yours could've been?
