First let me express my admiration for the builders of this board. At last the UK is beginning to pull its weight in the MRA arena. That's all down to the dedication and hard work of a few individuals. Guys like AH stood alone for a long time so if things are progressing that's excellent. I also think that those extremely active guys have the best of intentions when they put up new posts. They want to keep the board alive and up to date. But I would tentatively suggest that their going for overkill. Most comments that come in, including my own humble offerings, are banished to the back pages by a plethora of new posts every day. Most of these receive little comment. Plenty of sites provide links to the latest bit of news on the denigration of the rights of man but they are newsy sites and this is a forum. The best new threads are the ones where a poster provides the topic and then adds comments of his own which can be picked up and debated. These tend to survive for a day or two. Over the last couple of years, many MRA sites have sprung up only to fade away after a few months. I would hate to see this happen to this one. Surely the trick is to get more readers, not more posts for a small number of readers. I've sent this URL to all my friends but so far have only seen one post from my circle. As our transatlantic cousins would say - we need to do the math. Don't mind me - I'm just trying to be helpful.

I have to say I agree, in part, with Yan Yan I haven't been here long, but so far the only real contributers have been Karl, Little Glutton and maybe two or three others that pop in We have a list of 65, yet there are only about 5 or 6 of us actively contributing I think the posts are great, but perhaps we should sub-section some areas: i.e. let's have a seperate area for Lastest News and then have another for Hot Debate I think we can REALLY get the ball rolling if we encourage more guys to air their opinions Whilst the updates are great, I think we do need to encourage generic debate, even if it is just one guy airing his grief over his latest divorce/false accusations etc These are my views on this, I'd be interested in any feedback

I agree with Yan Yan too. There are too many posts (at least in this section) that are not being answered or commented on. It's getting hard to find a thread from even a few days ago. I don't have a solution to this - maybe the breaking news thread is a good idea.

Agreed, it was something i'd noticed but noone seemed opposed to it. That has changed. I'll work on it.

With regards to this thread, if anyone is trawling the forums and notices any threads that are out of place (eg a women sexually assualting a minor is in the news or chit-chat, it should belong in the 'female paedophile' forum instead), i'd appreciate if they could pm an administrator (myself or little glutton) with the pertaining thread (preferably a direct url) so we can adjust it accordingly.

Thanks for the responses and the goodwill they contained. I didn't want to nitpick, I wanted to see this board grow rather than perish like so many others. Plenty of clever men are already 'on-board'. If we really want to grow we have to be 'sensitive'!!!!

Hi Karl On the issue of splitting the site up a bit What do you think about dedicating, like I mentioned in one of my posts, an area for a) Latest News (with all relevent links) b) Personal Stories (I think this would help break in newer mra's in particular) and c) Name and Shame Them (a seperate section in which we can highlight particularaly vindictive media/political figures who purposley go out of their way to mock/disadvantage men. I.e. I mentioned Jon Gaunt in one of my topic areas -are the public too stupid? I'll post this on the forum as well as to you, as I'd like to hear the feedback on this Cheers

You make some very valid points , yan yan I too hope this site won't "fade away" I'd love to contribute more ,but due to my odd working hours , I have limited time to get on here . I still think ,that , as I said before , this thread is about quality , not quantity . The amount of postings do seem to have increased tho , inthe last few weeks .There are some excellent contributors on here , and I believe the site will continue to grow . Sorry to sound like a politician , but I reckon our site will grow slowly , but will have a much more solid foundation because of that !

The sex-maniacs who plague the Men's Forums need to be held accountable for their actions, as they merely respond to the posts that discuss the *Sex, Dating and Marriage* issues of men and women, and they usually ignore the REAL issues that effect men. When a topic about an important scientific issue is discussed, the sex-maniacs will usually ignore such a thread, however they are willing to read and respond to anything that is based around the female anatomy and sexual intercourse. Over on the insane Mancoat forum, the posts that tended to discuss the amount of pubic hair that they find to be attractive on a woman would receive lots of replies, and at the bottom of the page it would show half a dozen or more people viewing the drivel. Then, whenever a post about the law system and how it oppresses men was discussed, the intellectual retards on the forum refused to answer to them. It just shows that the current breed of men are just as subjective and feminine as women, as they would rather talk about mediocre topics that have NO CORRELATION to reality than discuss anything that requires them to *think*. A REAL MRA is a man who uses as much objective evidence as possible, and is NOT afraid to talk in a politically incorrect manner. The discussion of *Sex, Dating and Marriage* has no correlation to Men's Rights Discussion, as the former is based on the feminine attributes of Humanity, and will allow the insane feminazi's to enter and state their illogical *subjective* opinions and divert attention away from the underlying theory of the topic. The insane feminazi's will come along and post a wide range of subjective arguments, and then they will throw a tantrum and and berate the MRA when he uses logic and objective evidence to refute her delusional fulminations. Another tactic that the insane feminazi will use is to discuss her *feelings*, and state how the absurdity and vitriolic manner of her posts is acceptable, since it allows her to *feel* positive about herself in the process. The men on the Men's Rights Forums need to STOP responding to the posts that discuss the misfortunes of female celebrities, as it shows that they're merely looking for revenge. In my opinion, it is acceptable for a person to offer a citation to an article that discusses the actions of malicious woman and female celebrities, as such items allow people to learn of the malice that women possess, however there is no excuse for men to divert attention away from the legal aspects of the source and talk about their *Dating Issues*. I have a lot of respect for DCM, as he offers a wealth of citations to official articles about women, and he discusses the legal aspect of the items.
