I would not even dare to presume otherwise, Percy. Of course that is the natural way of things for most of us males....biology is biology and all that. You could say that that is the reason why women are allowed to get away with as much as they do in most of the inter gender "wars" we are now witnessing.....and has most probably been the case throughout human history.

......But let us not be under a delusion that men are perfect. Many are not. We have some mote and beam casting to do too.....

I did mention men and their faults and failings but I would add that society at large seems to hold them far more responsible and accountable for these than is the case when it comes down to the female equivalent.

I remind you that the bog-standard chap is the cop who maces you when the missus wants a game of 'Let's you and him fight'. He is the Judge and the lawyer who throws your sorry arse on the streets and dispossesses you and takes your children. You sure do know where you stand with such men. In the shit.

Percy - thank you for putting me in my place.....I bow to your superior wisdom. I have thought on a bit more about what you say in your last paragraph....yes, it is mostly MEN who subject other men to such dire punishments and to such dire, and in my opinion at times excessively unfair, and, further to what I have said earlier in this reponse to you, allow the women to get away with so much, irrespective of their true culpability.

History has seen many innocent and good men brought down and punished and reduced to penury all due to the cunning and wickedness and self preserving double crossing of the female preying mantis.

I apologise for any offence you may have taken to my last posting. It was not intended to be offensive as I really do respect you and all you have to say in here.
