    to all you religous folks on AM........


    would you please pray for my family.
    My grandma had a stroke monday, she still cant talk, but she refused rehab/therapy, and insisted on going home today. its going to be very difficult to take care of her until she can talk normally again. Im afraid social services are going to put her in a nursing home, and Im afraid I wont be able to take care of her for long. Add to that, my aunt's probation got revoked and she is in jail, and was out on bond for a felony previous.
    I just feel overwhelmed
    even though Im an athiest, I do not turn down free prayer

    I'm not even religious, but I'll pray for your grandmother.

    Two members of my family have had strokes, one of them made a full recovery, the other an almost full recovery. A stroke is not the death sentence it used to be, I hope your grandmother makes a sound a speedy recovery.

    You may be an atheist but there's no doubt you are a spiritual person. You have a loving connection to your family.

    I'm a spiritual person, too, and though I don't always know what it is I pray to, I pray...and I've prayed for you before and I will pray for you again. Your family, too.

    You make a lousy atheist, so I will pray for your gran's recovery and for your's.

    As a boxer, you are closer to Faith than most and might just make a passable thief on the cross. Hang in for a couple of rounds more and hope that the Big Guy is a fair ref.
