Topless women march in Vancouver for gender equality

Topless women march in Vancouver for gender equality

About 30 men joined the march on Sunday, wearing bras to show their support

More than 50 women marched through downtown Vancouver on Sunday, baring their breasts in the name of gender equality.
The march was part of a national campaign organized by GoTopless, a women's organization fighting for equal topless rights.
Organizers said similar marches were happening in 45 cities around the world.
"Being topless in B.C. is legal. We have the right to be topless and this is wonderful," GoTopless spokeswoman Denise Belisle said to a photo-snapping crowd that followed the marchers to Vancouver's Robson Square.
"What we need is respect. We need respect from society, we need respect from all of you."
About 30 men joined the march on Sunday, wearing bras to show their support.
"Equal rights. No double standard, right?" said Bruce Wildorn, who took off his shirt but taped his nipples as he marched alongside the topless women.
"For the women who do want to go topless, they should have that option. They do here in Vancouver, that's great, but not everywhere."
A few dozen men also followed the march as spectators, many of them crowding around to photograph the topless women.
"It's an education for men. Men are learning and they're learning to be more respectful," Belisle said.

what these new age gals call gender equality means they want to have a firm grip of your little green apples at which point they anticipate your heart and mind will follow the direction of the grasped spheres

Oh really? They were, were they?

They had placards demanding that Canadian laws that discriminate against men were removed or made equal, did they?

    Wow, how interesting..

‘Go Topless’ demonstration causes Vancouver chaos as camera-wielding voyeurs descend on scene

A handful of women chanting “Free your breasts, free your mind” inspired a chaotic scene on Vancouver’s Robson Street Sunday as surprised shoppers whipped out their iPhones, tablets, iPads and cameras to get a shot of the spectacle.
The crowds of digital recorders swelled as Denise Belisle, a topless blond perched in a pink Betsy 1963 Buick Skylark, led a few topless women, and a couple of men wearing bras, along Robson from Denman to Robson Square.
As one man attempting to get a shot staggered, knocked over and broke the 40-per-cent-off sign in front of Guess jeans, Belisle yelled into a megaphone, “Watch where you’re going.”

They'll "win the right" to run around with their boobies flopping around, which I would support like a bra, but then they'll complain about being ogled and made to feel uncomfortable and violated.

The day I see women taking to the streets about a men's cause is the day I'll care about women's needs again and the day I'll believe women really want some type of legal equality. But I don't think they have it in them, so I'll just have to settle for being legally inferior and biologically superior. You just can't have everything, I guess.
The death of women in childbirth hurts the men they leave behind more than the women who die.

Domestic Violence isn't funny...unless men are the victims.

"What we need is respect. We need respect from society, we need respect from all of you."
Respect has to be earned but this tawdry little exercise will do little more than convince people that feminists are in fact insane.

EDIT: Having today seen some reports on what has been happening in Syria, it is rather hypocritical of these imbeciles to talk of respect. Where was the respect from these infantile protesters for the hundreds of innocents being killed with chemical weapons? Did it even occur to them to consider postponing their childish marches until a less inappropriate time? No, of course not, narcissistic lunatics do not think like that. Respect? How about we just treat you with contempt?

What's with these manginas wearing bras though? As if the circus was not complete without those items.

The trouble is, men don't take to the street about men's causes. If they did, I'm sure women would join them. While women have very effective voices for men's rights, don't expect the women in the MRM to take the lead on the streets until men are willing to fight for their own rights.

Yes, men support women's rights (and privileges) and always have done. But when it comes to street campaigns, men have only ever supported women's initiatives and that's quite reasonable. It's also quite reasonable that women will only ever support men's activities on the streets, not initiate them.

If she's so comfortable being topless, why did she immediately cover her boobs with her notepad and big feather pen and then censor the video?

Re: Topless women march in Vancouver for gender equality

Pathetic! This isn't about 'equality' more a symptom of the bloated privilege, delusion and narcissism of Canadian feminists.

    Vancouver feminist march schedule:

Week 1 - A march demanding women not be treated as sex objects.

Week 2 - A march demanding the right for women to get their titties out in public.

A classic demonstration of passive-aggressive behaviour!
