Re: (Video) ASB Exposed: An Esposé on the Advertising Standards Bureau (Australia)
I once saw a snippet of a commercial for men's issues regarding child custody quite some years ago
the commercial was neer shown on the commercial channels only referred to in the discussion of men's issues
the commercial showed a womyn callously cussing her little daughter maybe 5 or 6 who was holding a teddy bear and in pyjames - the little girl was apparently frightened and looking for the mother to comfort her as the loud party Momma had thrown has woken her
of course the sociopathic feminits would not have a womyn presented in that light ( their true narcissistic nature to the fore
)
you can bet when the commercial was presented to the ASB the bevy of feminits and manginas on the board would have had raised hackles pretty quick and thumbs quickly to the kill button
I have watched a commercial clearly antimisandric on the local TV for a while now
it shows a car full of youth doing wheelies and as they are a group of womyn of various ages crook their little finger as if to say the boys have little dicks
men are the favourite target of feminit sneers on TV anyone who watches neighbours can see the men are represented as whimps or impotent pot gutted men who defer to womyns opinions and are admonished by womyn on social pecadilloes
the men are as if made of cardboard with cotton balls and are there as a contrast to bolster the affirmative assertive gals who bounce the ciphers around like rubber balls
the ASB which frequently itself advertises on the commercial channels encouraging complaints against unacceptable advertising apparently allows misandric content ( rejects complaints against misandric content eg testicular violence is deemed as amusing)or turns a blind eye to it but actively bolsters misandric content with relish men represented as nincomppops and blithering idiots

Re: (Video) ASB Exposed: An Esposé on the Advertising Standards Bureau (Australia)
You're right.
The ASB is a deadset joke. I sent a complaint to them in 2007.
"Date: Friday; 27th of July, 2007.
Time: 6:59pm.
Programme: Neighbours
Television Stations: Network Ten (Channel 10) on terrestrial TV.
Reckitt Benckiser (Aust) Pty Ltd (Harpic) (Surface care products)
One of their cleaning products.
A man in hit in the testes by a broom-like object after he accidentally walks on it.
================================================== =
The advertisement's depiction of testis pain is objectionable for a number or reasons: it's offensive to men; it's perverted and sexist, and; it gives children the impression that genital-related injuries [of men] are "funny".
As a man, it angers me that a society that claims to be pro-diversity is so biased in its application of "equality" between the sexes. A relatively mild form of violence such as slapping a woman across the face is viewed with disgust by our society, yet testis injury/pain is viewed as something to laugh at and joke about.
If the Australian Standards Bureau (ASB) cannot see the hypocrisy that pervades the way our society and television industry has politicised violence and health, and only take these issues seriously when they have a negative effect on women, then I and the rest of Australian men have a damn good reason to hate terrestrial television -- as well as the organisations such as the ASB.
I have never seen a commercial that contained a scene where a woman's vulva was injured by a kick or accidental blow. Based on my years of watching women's sport such as tae kwon do, football and mixed martial arts, I have seen at least five women fall to the ground in agony after they were kicked in the vulva. This is an indication that a blow to the vulva can be as debilitating as a blow to the testes -- and possibly as painful. Therefore, the way the advertising companies and television producers censor vulva kicking and vulva pain while they promote testis kicking and testis pain is sexist.
It can also be argued that the promotion of testis kicking (combined with the censorship on vulva kicking) is affecting the way the youth view the two subjects. When I was a child I noticed that the majority of children were unaware of the pain that a vulva kick can produce. I saw a fair few girls using their ignorance on the subject as their way of teasing and abusing boys. The boys were vulnerable to the emotional abuse as they didn't know the facts on the issue. If they had have known the facts, then the boys wouldn't have been susceptible to the abuse. Therefore, I blame the media for the problem, as the media has played a role in causing children to think the way they do about groin kicking.
Another matter of concern is the sexual connotations that are related to the way society views testis pain. A lot of men and women are fans of a paraphiliac practice known as "ballbusting", which is the term used to describe the fetish where people get off on being kicked in the testes, kicking men in the testes, or seeing men getting kicked in the testes. There are hundreds and possibly thousands of websites and internet forums on the subject on the internet.
Make no mistake about it, fans of "ballbusting" get off on the TV commercials and TV programs that portray testis-pain as funny and acceptable. Fans of "ballbusting" are known to hoard video clips of television programs, commercials and movies that portray testis-pain and/or kicking as funny and acceptable. YouTube, Yahoo! Groups and other file sharing websites are proof of this.
Over the years I have heard of many accounts where girls have kicked boys in the groin for no legitimate reason. It's very probable that the girls who did this were imitating the "groin kicking" scenes they saw on TV. Therefore, the media needs to play its role in disallowing such content from going to air. The ASB can contribute by not airing any television commercial that promotes testis kicking and/or scenes that promote testis pain."

DESCRIPTION OF THE ADVERTISEMENT
This television advertisement opens on a man exiting a door labelled "Toilet" . Behind him there is a
brilliant glow which blinds him, causing him to bump into a woodpile outside, then step on a rake
which injures him in the crotch and on the head, before he trips over a wheelbarrow and falls to the
ground. As a fresh white toilet bowl is shown, a male voicever warns "Beware the brilliance of
Harpic White and Shine. Its bleach and baking soda whitens and shines like nothing you've ever
seen." The product is shown with the text "What does your loo say about you?"
THE COMPLAINT
A sample of comments which the complainant/s made regarding this advertisement included the
following:
The advertisement's depiction of testis pain is objectionable for a number or reasons: it's offensive
to men; it's perverted and sexist, and; it gives children the impression that genital-
--related injuries
[of men] are "funny". As a man, it angers me that a society that claims to be pro-
--diversity is so
biased in its application of "equality" between the sexes. I have never seen a commercial that
contained a scene where a woman's vulva was injured by a kick or accidental blow.
THE ADVERTISER’S RESPONSE
Comments which the advertiser made in response to the complaint/s regarding this advertisement
included the following:
We treat complaints about our advertising seriously, particularly where, as in the present case, the
Complaint alleges that the Commercial is “sexist”, in this case, against men.
We note that section 2.1 of the AANA Code of Ethics (Code) states that “Advertisements shall not
portray people or depict material in a way which discriminates against or vilifies a person or
section of the community on account of race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, age, sexual preference,
religion, disability or political belief.” We further note that the Macquarie Dictionary, 3rd edition,
defines “vilify” to mean “to speak evil of; defame; traduce” and defines “discriminate” to mean
“to make a distinction, as to favour of or against a person or thing”.
With respect to discrimination, it is our view that the Commercial does not, simply by having the
male character involved in a slapstick sketch in which the male character accidentally injures
himself, discriminate against men. The Commercial makes no value judgment on this point either
expressly or by implication. With respect to vilification, it is our view that the Commercial does
not, again simply by having the male character involved in a slapstick sketch in which the male
character accidentally injures himself, “speak evil of, defame or traduce” men. Accordingly, we
deny that the Commercial, either expressly or by implication portrays men in any way that could be
seen to discriminate against, or vilify, any person or section of the community on account of
gender or otherwise. gender or otherwise.
In addition to that set out above, we note that the Complainant also raises other grounds for their
objection to the Commercial, namely that the Commercial incites violence by women towards men.
It is our view that this suggestion is ludicrous. As set out earlier, the Commercial depicts a male
character who, in a slapstick routine, accidentally injures himself – he is not injured by another
person. It must be re-stated that the Commercial does not depict any act of violence from one
person to another. We submit that no reasonable person viewing the Commercial could view the
Commercial as in any way condoning or inciting violence towards any person by another.
If the Advertising Standards Bureau is of the view that the Commercial does contravene any part of
Section 2 of the Code and is able to provide us with more specific information regarding any such
alleged breach, we are more than happy, and would appreciate the opportunity, to address any
such further allegation if it arises.
THE DETERMINATION
The Advertising Standards Board (“Board”) considered whether this advertisement breaches Section
2 of the Advertiser Code of Ethics (the “Code”). The Board noted the complainant's concern about the
depiction of the man and the violence towards the man.
The Board considered that the depiction of the man being blinded by the cleanliness of his toilet was
in no way offensive to or vilifying of the man. The Board also considered that the scenes of the
man falling over and into things is an exaggeration and likely to be seen as slapstick humour rather
than as violent behaviour toward the man. The Board agreed that the advertisement did not encourage
or condone violence towards men.
The Board determined that the advertisement did not vilify men in breach of section 2.1 nor did it
depict violence in breach of Section 2.2 of the Code. Finding that the advertisement did not breach the
Code on other grounds, the Board dismissed the complaint.
"
Instead of taking my complaint seriously, they mocked it.
Therefore, I think the only way to deal with the cunts is to expose them. There's no point in playing by their rules (IE. complaing to them and hoping they do something) because they're not going to do anything for use while the balls are stacked in their court. Exposing the cunts is the only way to get through to them. Let all of Australia know what they're dealing with when they complain to the ASB.Last edited by Chris Key; 13th-January-2009 at 06:41 AM.

Re: (Video) ASB Exposed: An Esposé on the Advertising Standards Bureau (Australia)
the response you received would be similar to a response to a complaint
forwarded by an inmate of a German concentration camp about his relatives being murdered in the Gas Chambers
that is the procedures were there for the fulfillment of the Nazis genocide programs and so were appropriate and in order
the inmates complaint - so summarily dismissed
the feminit apparatchiks employed by the ASB no doubt get a tad concerned if their salaries are not deposited on time
one of the members was all about "keeping the bastards honest'

Re: (Video) ASB Exposed: An Esposé on the Advertising Standards Bureau (Australia)
Notice how they twisted my argument around? According to them, I said that the commercial promoted violence against men. I never said anything of the sort. What I said is the commercial mocked the testes' sensitivity to pain, and when compared with all of the OTHER commercials that marginalise testicular abuse, it has the potential to cause people to not take the issue seriously.

Dear Chris

"Notice how they twisted my argument around? According to them, I said that the commercial promoted violence against men. I never said anything of the sort."
feminits only think in slogans
violence against womyn is a plank in their platform
so you must in turn be referring about violence against men in your complaint etc
you are mistaken in writing to these feminit apparatchiks
they have no intention of acting on your complaints
they are there to promote the feminit agenda - eg representing young men doing wheelies in cars as having small dicks
( a favorite feminit insult)
can you imagine the reaction of the ASB to an advertisement on TV that represented womyn who make lying allegations against men as having cunts like horse collars
that was a rhetorical proposition he he
don't waste you time in communicating with the ASB - you are only providing them with an excuse for a feminit sinicure
