Reece Wilkes on Express FM tommorow
Tomorrow night (16th November) at 7pm GMT, an interview with 16-year-old activist Reece Wilkes will be broadcast on the radio station Express FM.
The programme during which the interview will be aired is entitled Men's Matters, and is presented by elected Conservative Party councillor James Williams.
For those who are not aware, James is a member of this very forum - thus Anti Misandry can boast having an elected politician amongst its membership.
Now for the important bit - how to listen to the programme live over the internet.
It's really quite simple:
1. Place your mouse over this link and right-click.
2. Choose 'Save as' (or the equivalent option in your browser) and save the live.m3u file to your desktop.
3. Finally, tomorrow night at 7pm GMT - turn your computer speakers on and double click on the live.m3u file. You will then be tuned into the Express FM live stream and will be able to listen to Men's Matters.
If you're unable to tune in, don't worry - audio of Reece's interview should hopefully be available to download within a few days of the broadcast.Subscribe to my accounts on DocStoc, Scribd, Twitter and YouTube.

Re: Reece Wilkes on Express FM tommorow
I’ll certainly listen out for it, and would also just say that Reece and you have done an impressive level of men’s rights promotion.
I had an interview recorded and aired a few months ago with James, but it was in two parts; one for misandry and the other was about Asperger syndrome, which I have. I didn’t mention it here though, so others didn’t get a chance to hear it. That was really dumb and I didn’t even record it. And if you think that’s bad, I was in such a low mood that I didn’t even remember to listen to it. it was only when a friend phoned me up to tell me what she thought of the first half, did I realise I was missing it, and listened to the second half. How stupid can I get? Mind you this was the time I was on hunger strike and so my mood and interest wasn’t what you’d expect if I had a full belly.
I’d just like to add a little about James Williams who I think is a great guy and a tenacious MRA. We first met when he came to my house and we chatted deeply for most of the day. Over the next months I became aware of an incredibly busy man who still goes out of his way to get involved with other people’s problems; and often sorts them out. In many ways, he lives to a personal code which resembles the virtue and pursuits of knights of old, so to speak. We’ve talked about developing this way of mind to a wider non gender specific ‘brotherhood’ called Parity.
He’s been a member here for a few years but hardly reads it and didn’t post until very recently, I suspect because of my continuous nagging to begin doing so. I’m just mentioning this so members feel encouraged to engage him on these boards now that he has made his first 4 posts on AM. He doesn’t really like to be involved in fora so im hopping some warm camaraderie towards him might make some difference. He may also express some of his thoughts on Parity which I hope members will find of interest.
He is a man who is happily married and has not personally experienced any feminist problems, beyond the cultural background levels, but still feels and works very strongly towards the cause with a depth of commitment which is rare. And being a Portsmouth councillor, you can imagine he battles with seriously empowered feminists as he applies himself to his office with his anti-misandry values.
I hadn’t even noticed he started posting until this week and as it happens we’ll be chatting on the phone later today, so I’ll be able to express my appreciation of him starting here, and hopefully keep him going. Unfortunately though we were planning to talk about an issue which is a whole lot more dejecting.

Re: Reece Wilkes on Express FM tommorow
I've just listened back to my recording of tonight's episode of Men's Matters and I'm frustrated by what is either a cock-up by my software or a cock-up by the Express FM radio station.
For the first two or three minutes of the interview, Reece's voice is almost completely drowned out by a pop song in the background (well, foreground, in reality).
Whilst it could be my software at fault, I feel almost certain that the technical problem occurred at Express FM's end.
Anyway, frustration aside, the section of Reece's interview which was actually audible, was brilliant. He came across very well and made some excellent points.
Regardless of the technical problems with the programme, I will be uploading my recording to a file-sharing site in a few minutes time, so that you can all download it and have a listen.Subscribe to my accounts on DocStoc, Scribd, Twitter and YouTube.

Re: Reece Wilkes on Express FM tommorow Sounded pretty good to me esp George at the end and the strength was they allowed him to contribute without interuption and he got his point across robustly, possibly too late I e-mailed the station with my Blog on the BBC coz George offered compelling observations relating to Vera Beard QC who along with the Baroness Scotland are the governments top legal advisors and my blog included this along with Harmans rant on woman being given lighter sentencing if they murdered a violent husband and Straws 6 min interview announcing the open cout policy the only contribution to reform he has to offer and only 2 of the 6 mins spoke about that .http://daveyonefamilylawman.blogspot.com/
I am going to feature the radio show on my thursday Int mens day blog so good luck and keep up the excellent work to all involved!!

Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

Re: Reece Wilkes on Express FM tommorow
When I tried to record your interview with James last year, my recording software crashed frequently throughout the broadcast. This time around, the software behaved itself, however it appears that something went wrong in the Express FM studio for a few minutes at the beginning of the episode.
I've just begun uploading the file to MegaUpload and it shouldn't be too long to wait now. At 131MB, it's quite a large download, however it's definitely worth it.Subscribe to my accounts on DocStoc, Scribd, Twitter and YouTube.
