But, I'd like to suggest that a perfect poster for you UK types would involve that stupid idea your politicians had.
The one where women are paid out of your pocket to accuse people of sex crimes and then even when the accusation is proven to be maliciously false the accuser keeps the coin and is not punished.

Fly-posting is illegal under no fewer than four statutes...

The punishments that can be meted out to people fly-posting are:

• Fixed Penalty Notices
• On the spot fine of £80
• Prosecution in a magistrates’ court
• Transferring the cleaning charge to the offender

However, if you are posting on a place that looks like it is acceptable to post (such as a boarded-up window already covered in other posters) then this is a massive (but not certain) defence for you posting there. Try to be reasonable and responsible and you might well get away with it. Try to be a vandal and an environmental nuisance and you are more likely to be chased down.

Acutally, this post has a hidden message. If "we" were to make up posters with "AM" type messages then it gets the idea of a mens movement is out there and active. One or two people can fly post a town in an evening! I remember a few months before "Anonoymnous" became active by city was fly posted with there fliers and when Anonoymous became active the message clicked with me

I don't know about your towns, but mine is infested with state-monitored CCTV on all corners. I would be spotted in next to time in my own town walking around with a bucket of glue and bag of posters.

However, I was thinking that instead of just putting an AM poster only - we could design a completely new poster and put various websites in - you know, showing brotherly love and all that instead of saying "We're the only site on the whole internet.."

So if we have anyone here with a reasonable capacity for drawing up poster designs on a computer and anyone else who knows how/where to print A4 on the cheap...?

I think the fact you guys are really talking about this is giving me a world class boner.

Is there anyone in the Good Ol' U of K who lives in a major city and would want some help putting up some AVfM posters?

I live in a remote area, but I'm willing to come down and spend a few days helping a couple of guys to get started if someone is willing to give me a sofa to sleep on.

I'm thinking that small round (10-15cm across) stickers would be ideal. They could be put on lamp posts and should be hard to peel off. I think the message needs to be simple (not a list of website addresses I'm afraid).

AVfM doesn't cover England issues that I know of (not that I've delved too deeply)... If you want to promote only AVfM then use only AVfM to promote your poster-runs for them I'm afraid. Fair's fair. If you're going to promote poster runs on here, then please help promote more local groups as well... pretending there's only one site while using other sites to spread such a myth is at best disrespectful.

If you don't look at it too deeply, then you wouldn't know what it covers.

Yes - I do apologise for forgetting myself. In my initial enthusiasm I forgot that you don't see AM as a means to raise awareness of men and boys, but see it in terms of "your baby". It's almost as if you feel that if AVfM were to gain popularity, you would see it as bad thing.
