I am absolutely disgusted by the sexism of this 'chat show host'. I recall a few years ago, her show was on in my home (the missus was channel-hopping) and they had a couple on. The woman slapped the man, the audience applauded her - for violence!!!! It seems the feminist moto is "no excuse for abuse...... unless you're female"

I think the state should provide safe shelter for everyone regardless of whether or not they have been given victim status.

The reason the DV services exist has nothing to do with protecting women, it spectacularly fails to do just that, as pointed out on angry harries site, in fact, it is said to protect men more, by removing toxic women who would otherwise possibly kill men..

Does anyone see the likely ironic result of applying gender equality to the issue?

Instead of just having one gender classed as an abuser, in many cases, BOTH will be classed as abusers!

Then, neither will feel they can report their offences as it will result in a LOSE LOSE scenario!!

The DV industry is a slimey contrick!

The worst offences in this area are more to do with the routine abuse of the DV services and the false allegations..

Usually as part of the "game play" used in divorce, custody cases etc..
