If you look at every point the judge makes about the protesters each one equally applies to Jolly.

F4J protesters and Heathrow protesters are essentially the same in all aspects, the only difference being the sentences handed out and maybe the fact tha F$J are a little more peaceful and have abetter sense of humour in their campaigns.

Haha! Well, anyone who has tried to get in touch with any of the "fathers 4" groups in the last year will have had serious problems getting any responses and it was hardly easy when f4j where in their heyday..

I am sure several fellows off this forum (I know for sure at least a couple of serious gents have not had replies to emails etc) will vouch for this as being a long term difficulty.

Lack of communications is endemic, and very damaging to growth, it is no good putting out contact info etc when phones and emails are not answered.

I had a bad feeling about this demo from the start, there is nothing like the support that there "aught" to be apparent, Marx here has showcased the trial and everything in the best way possible and I have noted he has personally followed up all the leads and commented everywhere that has been running articles etc.. Cant expect better than that, using his site in the best way possible..

Rumours that there is a "media blackout", dont help get the news round for sure, but the current disarray in the fathers groups is very disheartening.

The "one man and his blog" fathers groups are just that, one man and his blog, the movement is now full of keyboard warriors who simply sit in their arses and fantasise about the new all-conquering mens group they will personally spearhead, or just spout trite guff that is flavour 1001 from the standard fare repeatedly rehashed ad-infinitum.. All from the comfort of thier seat behind their PC.. In fairy land.. Or they just whine about how bad things are.. Millions of times over.. Or have little group masturbation sessions with feminists and manginas and crack one off over it afterwards.. But, practically speaking.. After the mopping up has been done and the tissues binned, most folk do nothing other can keep feeding the lawyers and the system..

The movement is now practically completely devoid of REAL activists and folk who are prepared to heed a call for support or action.

Full marks of course to those who turned out on the day, but it would have been nice to see the total reach double figures, having driven 600 miles personally I was shocked to see so few fellows..

I have always wondered why the MRA carries on and on about how wonderful and essential the internet and the many forums are for activists, because the technology sure as hell is not used for much that benefits anyone when it is looking so seriously misused..

There is a LOT than can be done using the technology, but it is SPECTACULARLY NOT being used as it could be!!

Its like, we have been given this wonderful communications equipment and its being used to hit each other over the head with like clubs.. When it is not being used to misinform and confuse.. Net result, negative utility..

Well, some aspects of things clearly are, such as the name, and the fact that his site is still operating as if f4j is still a going concern..

Well, someone (Matt maybe?) needs to take responsibility for the confusion and start pointing folk towards a place where they can perhaps rebuild something because right now the centralised contact system to get fathers together is well out of order..

But, really, we have to accept that a few jaded and burnt out men who have been hammered by the system and been fighting this battle for years are doing so under great strains..

The real question is, where is the new blood? The men, the fathers, who are looking for a focus point to express their support for the campaign against the vile feminazi anti-father system?

There is a gent locked up for doing deeds that if a few more fathers would at least support, if not emulate, may get the godvernment to sit up and take note, but, where are the fathers and men?

Watching football? Shopping with the new "partner" and her kids? Or just sleeping off their hang over or perhaps working overtime to pay the CSA..

Makes my fucking piss boil... To see that men and fathers as a whole have ripped their own balls off and placed them in the handbags of the all powerful axe-wound-wielders where they are occasionally taken out to be used as ear-rings..

Lets just come out and say it..

Because UK fathers could not give a tuppeny toss about the battle for justice and the bravery and committment of a few..

There were more than just 2 people, those are the only pics I got, using my phone (My camera's did not work in the cold for some reason! I guess the batteries dont like it!)..

There was another cameraman, who may put the pics up somewhere I guess?

It was a single figure turnout though, unless you count the children who would have put it over ten!!

I dont think "support demo's" historically ever did bring in high turnouts, much depends on the weather etc..

Still, considering that Matt made the call for attendance, I would have hoped for better, I always thought Matt was the man most likely to unite the factions, historically he has proved this.. (Though the cause is of course not the responsibility of one person)..

I sincerely hope the action-based fathers groups get their act sorted soon, but I feel pessimistic about this unless a natural leader emerges who can effectively break the entrenched schoolyard attitudes of "not speaking to him, he smells funny and does not support gay rights and mothers and looks at people in a funny way, votes for the wrong political party, has a short dick and drives a skoda.."..

Petty infighting is very damaging, loyalty is more inportant than minor differences..
