I am going to do a search of this site for an article that was posted around Christmas that said that the UK Human Rights Commission finally spoke out and said it was OK for Christians to say "Merry Christmas" in spite of it's "Eurocentricity" and that furthermore...

IT WOULD NO LONGER EXAMINE COMPLAINTS TENDERED BY PEOPLE WHO WERE NOT MEMBERS OF THE AGGRIEVED GROUP.

You are not alone. But you may be missing something. I saw many "born preferences" change in college. Fashion can dictate preferences, can it not?
Especially when said "fashion" has a deep epistemological root.

At any rate, yes, no group should try to control one's preference.

It's been a while since I've been in school, but my understanding was that they weren't teaching homosexuality as a how-to course, but rather that there are lots of different kinds of families. I honestly don't remember either one of my children mentioning it.
