Recently I've been having some good-natured arguments with an American ex-pat mate about Ronald Reagan. I could never understand why he's so admired when he appeared to be a moron.

My friend sent me some info, not from his speeches but about private life, diary writings etc. I quickly began to realise that this was perhaps a smart man who played dumb in order to get the masses on his side.

This is the problem in elections around the world. Both your candidates are owned. It's like that Simpson's episode where the aliens replace both the Republican and Democratic candidates with their own. Both candidates are almost indistinguishable on the issues, and finally the pair are unmasked. The aliens then ask the people of Springfield what choice they have - will they waste their vote on a third party candidate or vote for one of the aliens? Reluctantly, the people of Springfield state that rather than waste their vote, they would have to vote for one of the aliens that would enslave them and beat them over the heads with boards. Sadly, this is the prevailing mentality and is all too close to the reality of the situation that Americans face.

Hillary though is far worse than Bush. While Bush and his cabal would work to establish a new world order, it would be of a branch that would put US interests first. Hillary on the other hand would establish a new world order which would put European interests first. She would turn the United States into a communist country, as her statements above confirm. Each and everyone of her statements smacks of communist philosophy and could easily have been made by any of the communist icons listed.

I think they are about the same. Bush claims to be for freedom and democracy but his actions speak otherwise. Whereas Hillary does not claim to be for freedom and democracy.

When I was growing up I was always told to pay attention to what a person DOES, not what he says.

Hillary is a voracious man-hater and communist sellout. Trust me, as bad as Bush is, Hillary will be far, far worse.

You'd be hard pressed to come up with a politician I consider 'as bad as' Hillary. Even if I equally despised their politics, atleast they don't cry "they're picking on me because I'm a woman!", when their political agendas are challenged during a debate. If I'd had any respect for Hillary (which I didn't) before that, it would have long since disappeared.
