F4J-Richard West arrested

Richard West (of the New F4J) has been arrested in his home town of Ottery St Mary (Devon, England UK) and held at Heavitree Road Police Station, in Exeter. We believe that this has been after Richard continually trying to get hold of medical documents relating to his son and C.A.Ms (social services) Richard secured a bid in Court and the CAMs team was told to hand the files over but continually and blatantly refused to co-operate. Even the mother of Richards son joined the request in seeing thier OWN childs records!!

Last week Rich publically made a statement to his local press, The Sidmouth Herald stating that the NHS, who are responsible for the CAMs team, have till the end of the month to comply or he would "cause massive disruption by shutting down one of the country's major public infrastructures by the end of the month" SEE HERE >> http://www.newfathers4justice.com/fo...read.php?t=191

Earlier on this evening it is believed that the CAMs team contacted Richard and he reminded them that they had till the end of the month to comply or he would carry out his threat of public protest, re-iterating that the end of the month is tommorow.

At approx 2000pm tonight local officers attended Richards house and arrested him for making "threats to an organisation".. The house was then searched and the police siezed Richard's 'Mr Incredible' costume, his partners 'Superwoman' costume, and his son unknown costume as well.. The police left items such as laptops and phones.

Details are a bit sketchy at the moment but it is believed that Richard will be taken to Rygate Police Station in Surrey.

Rich West has been a persistant activist against the lack of Fathers Rights in this country climbing Stonehenge with F4J and more recently climbing a mast near his home town to try and get a meeting with his local MP after being ignored

i really hope that he has back-up-- to carry out his plan,regardless of his arrest by the state thugs.

i wish i was there-i would be sitting in the cell with him-This man is a mra HERO and we need more of him,a lot more often.

someone tell me about the F4J,the New F4J and the Real F4J

An opportunity presents.

If the cops can be enticed to arrest someone and confiscate his Mr Incredible costume with such ease, we need a hundred men across the country to do it all at once. The 'I am Spartacus' Strategy.

Just think of the number of cops that would need to be used.

It would need to be organised of course, with co-ordinated publicity and have exposes of the cities where the cops 'don't act' as well as those that do.

The state is not father friendly, in fact, its not family friendly, in fact, the state hates the family doesnt it?

The different "f4j" groups in the UK is a cause of much confusion indeed..

The original f4j has been closed down, the real f4j has been in operation for some years now, they broke away from Matts f4j..

New f4j, I shall not comment on, as they have banned me for pretty pathetic reasons!

"Problems organising piss ups in breweries" comes to mind..

Actually, I have been banned from every flavour of f4j that has ever been created, but I dont let it bother me too much, they either will or will not see sense sooner or later,

but it does not destract from the fact that the brave activists deserve our backing 100% if we agree with what they are doing..!

If the health "service" refuse to obey the law and ignores court orders he surely has little choice.

He's doen the right thing and jumped through all the correct legal hoops (and no doubt spend a considerable amount of times and, money and effort doing so) and then once he wins they basically tell him to fuck off.

The guy is clearly a hero - we need more people like him in society.
