There is no MRM..

It is an online myth.. Probably perpetrated by feminists..

Movements, move..

They don't just shiver and vasilate..

They tread inexorably in a direction, with a goal in mind..

If the goal is to seek the right of men to whine and moan and complain..

Then they have it, almost, if they want to do this in their own areas, subject to certain limitations..

But they have problems being taken seriously, or believed, in the enemy turf they try too hard to be accepted on..

By constant appeasement, they over temper their message, till it is so weak it has no..

Balls..

Anyway, its midnight in the UK..

And time for me to ask of myself..

"Have I been effective as an MRA?"..

I have to conclude, "not at all"..

"Effective as a man, as a father?"..

Pfft..

Can't even think about that..

I'm just another "fucked up member of a fucked up society"..

And until I can correct that..

I have no right to demand others change their ways of thinking, or methods..

First of all, I need to "unfuck myself"..

That, seems a greater challenge than any I have ever faced before..

Personally I think you take the activism interest way too seriously, or say you do, while always denouncing yourself as being incapable of a decent, ordinary life, and handing folks who want change but don't buy the activist line from anyone, the exact reason they don't and can't take activism seriously to beign with.

Activism is as much a cliche as you say the MRM is, and with which I agree.

Activism, like volunteer disaster relief, has one goal only:

Pull folks out of the rubble, and for themselves and you both,

GET BACK TO ORDINARY LIFE. ASAP.

Believe in yourself, my currently struggling friend. Fuck the rest of us, we don't need you to save us, but maybe share some of what you've learned about saving what is precious to YOU.

And please, PLEASE don't leave. A voice like yours keeps us sharp, and aware that every argument has holes in it and every impression masks truths behind itself.

is exactly how we need you, and I don't think I'm alone in thinking this.

Don't close yourself off from society and your friends on here that way truly lays madness and a bluddy great black hole waiting to suck the life out of you, been the too many times myself. I have lost count of the times I've seen the abyss approaching, by all means lay down your activist's sword for a while let someone else take the lead for awhile

Thanks chaps. Fact of the matter is, the abyss I am staring into is something only I can deal with, as it is regards my own limitations and failings, nothing to do with the MRM and the almost permanent state of low effectiveness I see from my own perspective.. I am used to dissapointments in that regard.. As a destraction from my own personal shit, the MRM has been useful at times, but indeed tis time for me to withdraw from "activism".. (Although to be honest I withdrew from it some time ago and was merely doing what I could to facilitate others for the last 6 months or so)..

It wouldn't do me any harm to withdraw from the internet totally, so much of my time seems wasted in googling random shite, porn, etc..

So, while I am not going to be "dissapearing", chances are, I will be making "lightweight" contributions at best..

I hate to say that such seems the norm here anyway, no offence chaps!

Anyway, if things dont change, they will stay the same..
