Recently, I was told by my manager I got the promotion. My manager stating this during my performance review. Three times he stated that he would not lie to me and three times he stated that the Director thinks very highly of me and I was hired to be his replacement. Well, that was three weeks ago and I did get the promotion. Why? He found a canaidate that just blew him away and it is his friend.

After I was told I did not get the promotion. I said fine. and thanked him for the opportunity and left out the office. Not once did he say sorry . . I felt he could not be trusted and did not feel he would ever tell the trust about anything. Therefore after three hours of thinking about the situation I handed I in my resignation. All this from a man that stated on numerous occasions that he building trust in hte organziation.

I'm 57 years old and out of a job but I still am true to my core values. I will find a job or start my business.
