How should this cooking section be presented?
The CMS (the front page and articles) isn't really used a whole lot for anything except major news.
I'm thinking we could create a 'master chef' (or similarly named) are for the CMS. It could easily be placed under the off-topic area as a subsection. We already have a computing and DIY area in there, so adding a cooking area wouldn't be a problem. Clicking the 'cooking' area link would provide only the cooking related articles but clicking the off-topic link would provide you with all of them (so you could pick and choose).

Or... it could remain just as a basic forum under the General zone, as it already is.
I think it could work well as a CMS section though, a small picture to whet your appetite, with a few words of encouragement - a click later and you're presented with a fuller article on cooking with helpful hints & tips courtesy of Bmiricle (and perhaps another guest chef type of person now n' then).

Re: How should this cooking section be presented?
To cook or not to cook,
That is the question.
Is it nobler on a forum to expose culinary horrors from outrageously expensive cook-books,
or by taking up a mate's recipe, cook, eat and be merry?
Will a man knock up a repast fit for heros,
or call for a Pizza?
Aye, but there's the rub.
Furrin' fare may not sit well late in the night,
and bring shriekish dreams and ghoulish reatches into the bog from a Texan goulash.
Nay, go lightly on the red peppers and order a vindaloo as stand-by.
It will keep for a few days in the fridge.

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. “

I think the article idea is great. Someone should get around to writing one.

A general tips and ideas structure that gives you insight to certain aspects of cooking that can be used in a variety of dishes. I'm sure I could come up with a few.~Politicians are just a group of lawyers over complicating life for everyone else.

Dude I love cooking and I will spank the shit out of this thread!
Do not ever suppose that a small group of people can never change the world. INDEED it is the only thing that ever has.

Re: How should this cooking section be presented?
Just let it evolve naturally. Once you attach too many rules and restrictions you stifle already what it could have been. Let it be down to the author to show what can be achieved in it's own unique way.

Re: How should this cooking section be presented?
The food forum has now been given a CMS area so recipes offered can be presented as articles from the front page.
You can find it here: antimisandry.com - Food
More recipes will be given over time

Just so long as there's none of those feminist recipes, we'll be safe.

Could I post some of my recipes as articles too? Or is it just a thing for Bmiricle to post his recipes?

Re: How should this cooking section be presented?
The forum side can have any member add their recipe as TMOTS said... for it to become an article, bmircle or another admin has to do that.

Re: How should this cooking section be presented?
I don't see how promoting them to articles is beneficial to the main purpose of AM. It would distract frontpage viewers from important matters.
