    Question Ahh, the Cook-Off!

    About once every month,
Stacey and I have a bit of a competition in the kitchen.
Use what you can find in the freezer, fridge and the cupboards to make a decent edible meal in shorter time as possible.
We've had fish, chicken, steak, vege's, you name it.
No-one got any food poisioning so that has been a relief.
Great idea if you think your mates might be into a bit of competition over a few beers, only competent people should below allowed though, you don't want to end up burning the house down just for a bit of fun, especially where deep frying is involved.

We take our cooking very seriously during the weekends when we are "usually" both at home.

Anyone else here have an idea towards a competition like this?

Not in the food cooking sense, but I do have a board game that is great for sex. It is called "exxxcitation". First one to reach orgasm loses the game, makes for great competition in bed or elsewhere, cuz this game is very imaginative and has you running the house gauntlet. Thoroughly exhausting and put some nip back into a sex life that sometimes may end up a bit rigid after so many years. Not saying this is the case with you but still great game, highly recommend it. From massages to to timing oneself with an hourglass while in the thick of it. Here's a link, don't know if it is available in other parts of the world. I remember, there are even rain check cards you can win. Those are great for rainy days or after cookout competition with the wife.
eXXXcitation : Sensuality and sexuality with strong emotions and challenges Sex shop Kama Sutra : Vibrator, erotic massage oil, lingerie, erotic games, erotic dvd, erotic books, sex stimulants, cock-ring, masturbator, penis pumps,

    Not bad.
When I was younger, I used to pick one day out of the week to get money from the ATM and smash an "All you can eat" buffet.

I have just come home from a 10hr night shift, I'm pretty pooped. And that is my excuse for the reading error I just made. I listed all the 'latest posts' and saw this one, which is entitled "cook-off".

Had I not looked twice, I would have mistaken it for a thread discussing a botched circumcision.
The most offensive thing you can do to a feminist is treat her with FULL equality.

Sounds like a good Idea Mike. Never really made a competition out of cooking. I've never had anyone at home to compete against. Maybe I'll rile Kim about it and present it to her. Then I'll let her win so it takes the heat off of me for cooking.

    Mike,

I think you may have misinterpreted what Marx was saying. He was tired from a long day, clicked to see new posts, and with tired eyes, COOK OFF looked like something else...

First take note of dates. The post I made was a week gone now, while the new post rules was done not quite two days ago (20hours). Second, the primary point of the new post guidelines states it is primarily about thread starters, not replies - but it does ask to keep the guidelines in consideration when replying too.
Finally, as TMOTS has pointed out, it was a legitimate error on my part and it was the shock of opening a thread expecting one type of topic to then suddenly realise the mistake I'd made when reading it. It wasn't a joke.
I hope things are well for you over there in the aftermath mate.

    TMOTS, Karl,
    Don't get me wrong.
I was a tad peeved at the responses that I did get to this thread, but hey, one can read things the wrong way when they are tired (especially).
There has been no real harm done, if you can live with it, so can I.
