To start that is a horrible story and it is sad the mom was suspected all those years...

Now to the beef. If this was a father who was suspected he would have been jailed for one. His case might have not been reopened, and he would of lost his other son. This woman had to deal with the stigma of being a murderer...

something 1000's of men have to deal with because they were falsely accused for murder and rape!

One other note, this would have not made the news if this was a father and not a mother.
