I have been trying to get back into social care for sometime, due to working with vunerable adults and children, i have to have a enhanced criminal records disclosure.I have waited nearly three months and received my disclosure last week.To my surprise the Police have written on the Modus Operandi that i should not work with and/or coach children due to my Police record showing that i have a speeding record and resisting arrest.
As you can imagine i'm quite pissed of, i have never had anybody say that i can't work with kids or adults for a motoring conviction.Yesterday i spoke to a Solicitor, he told me my criminal record has got nothing to do with social care, i' am no threat and he has never ever heard of anything like this in his life.
I beleive that West Mercia Police are breaking my human rights and i will not rest till this remark is removed from my record.
In the last few weeks i have heard of imigrants comming into the country who are convicted murderers and have had know Police checks.One paper has said that these imigrants who have come to work in social care have know information provided by the countries they come from, because there Police where pleased to see them go.So they get into employment quicker than i can, even though i'm being honest with prospectiv employers.
Throughout my ordeals in FEMINAZI HEREFORD and reporting issues to the Police, i personally think that the Police are trying to stop me getting back into employment, this is the way Hereford Police at getting back at me, for not giving into the FEMINAZIS ways!!!

The speeding ticket probably has nothing to do with it...but the resisting arrest might, particularly if it is considered a violent offense or a felony. Felony offenses (regardless of type), in many states, will keep people from being able to work with children or the elderly.Posted 19th-August-2008 at 02:39 AM by TERA
- Allthough i have a criminal record, this has not stopped me working in Social Care.Every job that i apply for in Social Care has got to have another CRB, their is no fast tracking the system.But my recent CRB is in the last chapter of checks, (police).
Only a few days left for the police to get their act together, as the police are contracted and have a time limit to complete the checks for CRB.I allways have problems with the police, when it comes down to the final check!Posted 20th-August-2008 at 09:54 AM by genisis

Genisis, this is peculiar... I've had police checks (CRB) a couple of times for the work I've done.
I have worked with disabled people (young adults), with disabilities ranging from wheelchair bound and incapable of eating their own food, to slight mental problems who needed assistance with toileting.
Also, I worked with children when I was self employed at the local schools as IT technician.
Both these required CRB's, and both were considered 'pass' when the police did not respond. Apparently, as I was told by the school, if the police do not respond it is considered a 'pass'... if they get back to the company/ organisation/ etc. then it is likely a bad sign.Posted 20th-August-2008 at 01:40 PM by Marx - Since 2003 i have had other jobs that needed a enhanced CRB, they showed that i have criminal record for a sp30, resisting arrest, 2 officers, refusing to give my details, it was a very stressful day, i was due in court, a family court" for contact for my daughter, she means a lot to me! All my CRB's have shown these offences, but the police the added further imformation, saying should i be working with kids with these offences, my conviction is nearly spent!
