Living in a Feminist Dystopia

I think Weird Al, instead of singing "Amish Paradise," should have come out with a parody entitled "Fembot Paradise." If anyone would care to come up with lyrics to it, let me know.

I'm considered to be a traitor by many feminists. They think that anyone who calls out feminism is a misogynist.

I believe that feminists are the real woman-haters. They perceive acting feminine and ladylike as being weak, and feminist must be STRONG, unga bunga!

Between feminism and the sexual revolution, we've been left with quite a mess. Fifty years ago you didn't see all the single-parent households (mostly single mother), you didn't see all the hooking up, parents weren't afraid to have big families (my mother is the seventh child out of eight), and teachers worried about gum on the desks instead of kids packing heat. Absent fathers leads to a higher crime rate.

Feminists generally believe that gender is a social construct, that we're blank slates--which is why they push homosexuality as normal. After all, gender doesn't matter when you're in love, right? Actually they're wrong. No one forced me to play with dolls, yet there I was in kindergarten playing with dolls with the rest of the girls, playing house, pushing a doll in a carriage, etc. Females generally have a nurturing instinct. When I buy my young son boys' toys and put on Bob the Builder for him, I am nurturing what is there by nature. The differences between male and female are complementary. While I'm struggling not to baby my son and hover around him when he's playing, my husband says he needs to trip and fall a little so he learns.

Abortion is another sticking point with me. I am staunchly pro-life. I recall a quote by a feminist saying that to destroy the family you have to start with its most vulnerable member--the unborn. I wish I could remember who said it and where I saw it, so I could link to it.

Abortion has never been a safe procedure despite it being legal. Not only does it kill the baby, but it can harm--and possibly kill--the mother as well. Plus there have been studies linking abortion to breast cancer, though the people pushing breast cancer awareness will very likely never point that out!

Also, since Roe v Wade, the rate of child abuse has skyrocketed. This is because of mothers suffering from post abortion syndrome and taking it out on their living children, and because children are viewed as burdens instead of blessings, and viewed as property. Feminists scream about being treated as property, and yet they don't hesitate to dehumanize the unborn! Hypocrite much?

I was born in 1973. I never got a chance to enjoy this world before las feministas took over and ruined everything.

Thanks a lot, womyn.

Nice intro Alexandra. We're not too far apart in age terms and I agree - I'd love to have lived in a time when the world was ... normal, prior to feminist intervention.
Alas, we have to endure this muddled up mayhem they've built for us.

Alexandra...Totally agree with every word of that. I have to say abortion fills me with such revulsion. How can a society hope for peace when it makes war against its own infants???

....anti nature anti nurture anti justice anti feminine pro confusion and murder...etc
I remember seeing on a news report years ago - Mother Theresa lecturing in the USA - she stood in front of Hilary and BIill and told them straight: "...the fruit of abortion is nuclear war...."

When I heard those words it sent a chill down my spine
because there is a prophetic logic about them.

911 was the wake up call for America I think..
And the whole of the western world....

.....which is why now its days are numbered....unless there is a massive shift towards common basic morality. God Help us all...

I was born in 1965, i never had any trouble with feminist's for eight years, as i lived was in Africa. When i finally left and had a taste of living up north (GB)feminism didn't effect me then, but now life in a feminist Hereford is very challenging on a daily basis!
Today has been interesting, tomorrow i will make it more interesting, when will all this MISANDRY stop?

This article is well written, but unfortunately it's completely inaccurate.

Before making assumptions about the thoughts and opinions of feminists, read more books written by them. You will find that you honestly sound quite silly right now, not trying to be mean.

Feminism is about gender equality for men, women and intersex people. Men and intersex people can be sexually abused, domestically assaulted and objectified as well. That is why we have male and intersex feminists.

You wouldn't be so frustrated if you would seek understanding before condemnation. It's only wisdom.

Sad but once again, this is another example of a some miseducated man throwing a tantrum about loosing male privilege. This is not about women never being weak. This is about humanity, which is weak yet proven strong. Feminism is the discernment between the two.

Alexandra is a woman - not a man. Yet because you have an innate assumption that only men do wrong, you automatically (biased) presumed Alexandra to be:

Brittney, most of us judge feminism (and thus feminists) on the actions of the movement, not the claims. Now remember, we are people who have been watching feminism for many years. We have seen such things as the demand to move the burden of proof onto the accused for rape allegations (i.e. assume man is guilty so he has to prove he obtained consent), we saw feminism in action during the Haiti Earthquake when the 'department for advancement of women' demanded women-only food-lines, we have seen Oprah shows where time after time she absolves female abusers and blames the male-victims yet blames male abusers and ignores any and all the provocation from the woman, we have seen this repeated by her 'golden-boy' Dr. Phil, we have seen feminist professors (Mary Daly) demand men be wiped from the planet's surface (save a handful for breeding purposes), and lastly (but by no means 'the last') we have seen you blame a man for a woman's words.

It's a rather amusing quote really, because while feminism may have had valid complaints back in the old days, today feminism simply appears to be women (primarily) who have been mis-educated about history demanding yet more privileges without any responsibilities.
