  1. Few insights and few suggestions for a more effective strategy

    Hi all.
As you may know I'm new to this community but not to the topics it covers.

I'm not an insider, I just remark it because it is a period of paranoia, and what I'm going to state might not please everyone.

(btw while writing this post I've received, in response to a post of mine regarding rape culture, a twitter message stating that "75% to 95% of men rape crimes are never reported", from a femminist activist named @womenbetter; well considering that in Sweden making sex without a condom may be considered a rape...I trust her)

    Let's continue...

I wanted to point out a couple of flaws that I see in the way the anti misandry community is acting:
    - lack of accountability: some femminst (misandric) will leverage on the fact the most identities are anonymous in these forums, to claim a lackness of accoutability; even if that is not ncessarely true, I admit that when someone reports facts and opinions with his/her real name/face I'm more prone to trust. That is a pity because if there is something men can be, still, proud of is "accoutability" in real life, so it should be the same in the virtual world. It is also a good selfmoderating attitude. It does not matter that many femminists act in anonymous way either, they have the poitical system on their side, and it matters
    - lack of networking: we are in many way worst of women at it. Using real names instead of nicknames may help to make the community more trustworty; further it would be good to create communication trends

    So I suggest to:
    - too use real names and pictures; I assume some may be scared of, some may not be in the condition to do it, but it would be good to try at least for those brave people that are in the condition to comply
    - when there is any relevant fact, to spread it via the social tools (such as twitter) and use hashtags (#) to make them more visible
    - search for members of the

Another term you guys should get familiar with. While the insult is directed at a certain type of male it is about as inflated as the word Misogyny...

While I doubt most of you want to read the list, Im posting it for viewing pleasure with my response (longer than the male privilege list)

    I. Do you ascribe to either:
    A) Passive-Aggressive Patriarchy:" (often come across as a
need/dependent and get women in your life to be your physical and

Like so many women want men to be?

to buy you things? to take care of your responsibilities?
pick up your slack? use guilt or manipulation to get out of your
and equal share of the work? do you treat your female partner like a
    "mom" or your secretary?)

Once again this is something most WOMEN do to some extent. WOMEN want their partners to buy them things and dump their responsibility on their male companions.

    B) "Aggressive Patriarchy:" (Do you often take charge? Assume that a
woman can’t do something right so you do it for her? Believe that only
you can take care of things? Think that you always have the right
Treat your female partner like she’s helpless, fragile, a baby or weak?
Do you put down your partner or minimize her feelings? Do you belittle
    her opinions?)

This has nothing to do with gender. If she doesn't know how to do something, SHE DOESN'T KNOW!

    2. How do you react when women in your life name something or someone
as patriarchal or sexist? Do you think of her or call her a "PC Thug,"
    "Feminazj," "Thin-skinned," "Overly-Sensitive," a "COINTELPRO-esque"

Anyone can Google the proposed Equal Rights Amendment to the US Constitution, and quickly conclude that as a political device its promotion as an idea has been a feminist-dominated initiative all along.

The amendment fell short of ratification by all the states and currently lies in limbo, a souvenir ideogram of another time.

    But, guys, READ the thing:

    Section 1.
Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.

Section 2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

Section 3. This amendment shall take effect two years after the date of ratification

With our rights compromised, from custody to credit to employment to education to combat to mental health to privacy, are we sure we couldn't use something like this in our front pocket?

"...any person, including a natural or foster parent, who, knowing that he or she has no privilege to do so or heedless in that regard, takes or entices any child under the age of eighteen years from the custody or care of the child's parents, guardian, or other lawful custodian or person with parental responsibilities with respect to the child commits a class 5 felony."
    (Colorado Revised Statutes 18-3-304)

"Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the
state of Colorado or any of its political subdivisions because of sex."
(Colorado Constitution, Article II, §29 (1973))

With these laws on the books, my son was taken out of Colorado to a remote location in Montana by his mother and her relatives in 1998, and I did not see him again for almost two years. No law enforcement, prosecutorial or judicial action was taken in either state to my continuing complaints that this was an abduction in progress.

In subsequent custody proceedings, which it took those two years to convene, the question of his mother seizing custody by criminal means and unilateral parental decision-making with no court order empowering her to do so was never allowed as an argument. The entire proceeding was premised on the notion that of course the mother would receive sole custody (which she already had seized and held illegally for two years) and no civil attorney would even agree to take my case were I to challenge this. Fifteen years of marriage, and over a year of fathering since his planned conception, bore no weight with anyone in terms of custody determination, and I was made to apply for the job of part-time father.

Much has happened since then. I have had some good time, hard-won in the courts, with my son, who was four months old when he was taken from his home and from his father. He has had a child's-eye view of a very ugly divorce since the beginning

Mumsnet :Promoting Hate, Bigotry and Bias..

How similar is this to the Jezebel logo ? Same sexist doctrinal mentality at work..

I did spend some time last year perusing the "Mumsnet" site and was sickened by the malice and male hate stated on that site. The automatic vitriolic responses to my comment, even though very rational and unassuming, were responded to in ways that were totally unacceptable and were a direct assault on the site's policies, but were ignored. It was akin to the same vitriol and venom expressed on the RadFem Hub, just as sick and just as obnoxious and abusive. That feminastie site is definitely due for a shakeup and it is time that those sexist, male bashing sites started applying their own policies of fairness instead of fomenting hate and ignoring the obvious male bashing diatribe those haters have always indulged in..

You just can not have your cake and eat it too. There was a time when we wrote we have been doing this for thirty years, then it became forty…the anti-patriarchy movement began in the age of enlightenment over one hundred years ago. Current American anti-family, anti-father, anti-children public policy is at least fifty years old.
People generally agree about the concept of equality: a simple beam scale where both, tables or dishes, are equally weighted. Fathers know their children need them. We have had the peer reviewed empirical evidence that demonstrates that for four decades.
Carnell Smith drew attention to Paternity Fraud two decades ago, now it is the subject of popular television shows every morning Monday through Friday in America. We know children’s formative years are at age one day to eleven years old. We have been through the decade of the infamous Grand Class Action debacle. After being extant in the English language we now know the word misandry exists and has existed for centuries.
If females are equal they can do their own work. If we are all equal women can defend themselves. Women have enormous decentric networks of advocacies and yet there are men who would first complain about their plight and then the plight of their children and then go defend the feminists’ advocacies…still you just can not have your cake and eat it too.
There are some males who have difficulty saying brother, some males still have no clue what misandry is, and, sadly males seem reluctant to stand shoulder to shoulder…after about a half century of anti-father, anti-children, anti-family, anti-male sentiment and public policy.
We are not alone, most children are raised in single mother homes, this is not new, we have known much for decades: we have failed to act.

  9. You can not have it both ways: some girls like it like that though.

by , 8th-March-2012 at 07:42 PM (Misandry and Fathers)
If you butter your bread on both sides your hands get messy. You can not eat your cake today and have the same cake tomorrow: you can not have it both ways. Equal or special, you can not have it both ways. Pink for this and pink for that but we want everyone to be equal: you can not have it both ways. Build a family or fuck around: you can not have it both ways. Tell the truth or spread an appearance you can not have it both ways. Girls want to run around professing their pride in being a slut, yet complain when others use their own words: you can not have it both ways. It is time for us all to grow up, attain some maturity. You can not promote Fatherhood by attacking DADS. You can not promote children by excluding Fathers: you can not have it both ways.
    From the OED
    n. a slovenly or promiscuous woman
1 having or characterized by many transient sexual relationships: she’s a wild, promiscuous, good time girl I promiscuous behavior
2 demonstrating or implying an unselective approach; indiscriminate or casual
