Take a dive into this rabbit hole and you will come to learn what feminism is truly about – and equality is not on the menu.

Feminism has cooked up many a meal over the last few decades. Some may say “feminists just want equality for women”, which may even hold some credence in times gone by, but not in today's world of feminism power & influence. Regardless of whether that is the case or not, the reality is that even in times gone by, feminists have not looked at equality for men. Largely this is because of their ideological belief that all women are treated worse than men in every sphere.

This demonstrates quite clearly their inability to think objectively. Most MRA's (Men's Rights Activists/Advocates) acknowledge that certainly in the past and in some aspects of today's world – women do get a short straw in some aspects of daily life. Feminists, on the other hand, tend to hold so tightly to their belief that only women are victims. They simply refuse to accept that men get a raw deal compared to women in any circle and of those who do acknowledge it, they tend to justify it and they will almost always conclude that blaming men to some degree and absolving women as a whole from any accountability or responsibility ...

I feel that it is important to address a topic that we don't often touch upon here at AM.

I say "don't often" because while there are sources on the subject, we rarely bring them up. We get lost in a deluge of stories of abuse, blatant hatred, institutionalized misandry.......all the evils of the world somehow find a way to our doorstep here at AM.....and into our hearts and minds.

We all respond a little differently to these things on the screen. We all write in much of the same vein.

    "That's horrible!"
    "What non-sense."
    "Let's do something about it!"
"We can fix it if we do x,y, and z."

This is the norm for us.....indeed, a HUMAN norm when you look across the spectrum of human interaction. Just because it's on the screen does not make it any less real than if it was right in front of us. Granted, we are displaced by the events...time and space have a way of altering ...

    Washington, Dec. 8 2011,

“Dec. 5 (Bloomberg) - For Gloria Steinem, the international conversation that the Occupy Wall Street protests sparked about economic inequality is, at its heart, about gender.” Opened an article published by Bloomberg, one of the most popular outlets for business and economic news and data early this week. The article exclusively featured of Steinem, her thoughts about the movement and how gender inequality and injustice for women are at the heart of the matter even though the movement at its inception was started by its founders as dressing an entirely gender neutral problem.

Within the article are mentioned twenty three year old women who are saddling $95,000 in debt who complain that they cannot pay it off as if it were any easier for a 23 year old man. Also, as expected, is a diatribe about the wage gap and how women are especially affected by the current economic downturn. This despite the fact men have fared far ...

Here's the video of Kim Kardashian punching New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries courtesy of CNN.com.

Their marriage lasted 72 days, just enough time to get footage for Kardashian's new E! television series, Kourtney & Kim Take New York. The series debuted on Monday and featured startling footage of Kardashian winding up to punch Humphries for "accidentally breaking her toenail,"

Video: Kim Kardashian punches Kris Humphries - CBSSports.com

The TV hosts were brave enough to explain this as early signs of domestic violence. This was a serious punch directed at Kris Humphries who reacted quickly to defend himself.

Still various mass-media outlets try to portray Kris Humphries as the bad guy, though Kim Kardashian filed for divorce, and tried to seriously punish him on TV, which is a clear domestic violence act.

If the genders were reversed the feminists would be up in arms over the physical attack.
    However, ...

Violence against women is well documented throughout recent history. However, there are many myths and hidden elements at play designed to ignore a problem many men can verify; violence by women against men. Perhaps one of the biggest myths is that compared to men who abuse women, the numbers of abusive women and men as victims are simply too insignificant to worry about. However, many studies have shown repeatedly that domestic violence affects men and women in similar numbers.

Recently, Dr. Robert J Reid, MD, lead a study (released 2008) which investigated the abuse of men & women alike which investigated the statistics. One of the 'surprising' finds was that male victims of abuse are 'hidden' and certainly under-studied. In addition, it was found that many myths were prevalent when discussing abused men.

It comes as no surprise to non-feminists to discover that the number one myth is that women do not abuse men. The fact is that at least one-third (1/3) of all domestic violence instances involve a woman abusing a man. Another myth is that men simply aren't affected by a woman's abuses upon him. Again, this is pure silliness to believe such a fraudulent claim. The affects of abuse can include depression as often-times, a woman will implement more mental or emotional abuses upon a man rather than physical. Nonetheless, we shouldn't slip into another mythical belief that a knife in the back hurts a woman more than a man.

Yet another myth, one that I've seen & heard perpetuated many times by feminist advocates, is that a man can simply get up and walk out of a relationship whereas a woman cannot, ...

The public tend to be convinced that men are the primary abusers of children, despite data confirming (repeatedly so, year after year) that in fact women (especially single-mothers) hold the top-spot for child abuse. This sexist stereotype encourages people to hold undue scepticism when claims of female child-abusers arise. And to add insult to injury, it creates a suspicion of the nearest man even when he has done nothing wrong. To make it even more deplorable, this attitude serves to offer female abusers a cover to hide themselves under. Despite such misconceptions of men as abusers, there is simply no denying that women are the primary abusers of children and men are not.

The DHHS (the US Department of Health & Human Services) reveal statistics showing that mothers abuse children some 70% of the time compared with fathers (30%). According to the NSPCC, 43% of child deaths are by mothers. Keep in mind, this does not include the 'female discount' given by such terms as 'infanticide'. If the two were added up - the stats would look very, very different.

Infanticide is the killing of a child under a year old. According to available data of today, more - considerably more - children are killed via infanticide than the general population (is at risk of being murdered). Often, infanticide is committed within an hour of ...

Tom Martin has made headlines around the world for bringing a £50,000 sex discrimination lawsuit against the prestigious London School of Economics (LSE), claiming the gender studies Masters programme he attended briefly, was consistently biassed in favour of female victim-hood perspectives, blaming men, in order to justify ignoring male equality debates.

Tom has discussed his case on A Voice for Men, and now appears in a youtube video, asking LSE students if discrimination against men in a gender studies course is justifiable, as the university's defence team argue. Some LSE students are immediately hostile on camera, one declaring “There's no discrimination against men!” - the outburst juxtaposed by a fast-scrolling 160 item A to Z of discrimination issues faced by males. Other students agree with Tom's complaint, one quietly admitting “I've been here for three years and never heard or read of a study about equal rights or equal opportunities for men, so definitely, there's ...
