Do not ever suppose that a small group of people can never change the world. INDEED it is the only thing that ever has.

What else could hope for from the politician who demanded sexism while crafting VAWA in order to please his feminist overlords? (I'm referring to Biden, not hObama).

He's an eloquent liar. What a waste of a presidency when he can't deliver the most basic courtesy to the American people. Honesty!

The "a man should never hit a woman" axiom has permeated into our social culture to such an extend that subconsciously both men and women do not recognise that a woman hitting a man, or for that matter a woman hitting anyone really, is bad.
In our culture at very most this aggressive and derogatory act is regarded as funny, -more often it is unsubstantiated-ly regarded as justified (he must have done something to provoke her), and will the perpetrator be granted the position of victim (the things she has had to put up with).
Social adolescence of young women and the social norms indeed makes young women particularly quick to lash out in violence; this is because they have
    1) rightly been told to stand up for themselves, but also that
    2) only males hitting females is considered a bad thing (instead of violence period).
Perhaps it would be a good thing to run a poll on the following questions:
-Have you been physically hit/smacked/punched/kicked/scratched by your current or previous girlfriend(s)/partner/wife, without any prior physical action from your side, during a discussion or argument, even if it was once and even if it was "non-intentional" or she apologized for it later?
-Have you, did you or do you feel you (may) have to communicate clear boundaries about physical action from your female partner during or following arguments or disagreements?
-Do you feel or have you felt you need to create physical distance between you and your female partner, to discuss matters of importance to you, to prevent physical action from your partner?
-Did your, or do you or do you feel or have you felt forced to (abort) discussing matters of importance to you with your female partner, to prevent physical action from your partner?

-The "a man should never hit a woman"- Adults shouldn't hit people no exceptions. I have an 8 year old son and if you ask him what he should do if a boy hits him and he will tell you, hes been told to hit him back. If a girl hits him? hes has hit her back too. And if their Mummy and Daddy come to school to complain about their little angels treatment? Well, that's mummy and daddy's job to sort out not his and he will NEVER be in trouble for standing up for himself. I learnt pretty quickly growing up that if i hit my brother, he hit me back and he was bigger and stronger and it really hurt lol.
