Interesting that you wrote this. I was talking to someone today about something similar who gave me a graph named, "The theory of everything".
It shows what we are about.

5. Both males and females: Einstein brain, analysis, humour.

The graph shows number 5 to be the ultimate. That if we can somehow be a person who comes from a place using their brain, abilities to analyse and humour, we can do the ultimate.

Anyhoo, still turning it over in my head to figure a way to explain it better.

Women do one hell of a lot of grooming, that's for sure. Particulalry in schools.

That's a narrow minded view. Men have built the advanced civilizations of today. Men also set and enforce standards and have conquered, tamed nature to a great degree.
If it wasn't for the so-called brotherhood among men, by cooperating, combining forces instead of e.g. chasing females and betraying each other for personal gains, we'd still live in pre-stone age conditions.

Reason for the Spear and Shield stems from symbolism of the war god Mars/Ares.
There's various ways to interpret it. You could consider it tools which men invented to excel out of primitive conditions to finally conquer the world as humans got on top of the food chain.

You could interpret is in various ways. I still think it is attack and defence because, If men made these tools to get on top of the food chain they are still attacking an animal and defending from an animal.

Please understand that I was shaking my head as I read the wiords that detracted from Ty's Concept. I had my son out camping with some other lads a couple of months ago, he became sick during the night, there were twenty-eight lads camping, I was waking up knowing I heard a groan as I made the connection that I was waking up, who made the groan and where the groan came from I was at my son's side before I was fully awake: Fathers are nurturers hence the shield, hunter gathers hence the spear, young lambs grow into Rams... I have a standard symbol for maleness that I scribble randomly everywhere, on steamed up windows, snow covered cars,, etc..

I bet you can't guess what it is..

Indeed, bobv's avatar looks very like it, with the bell end removed of course..

My symbol for women is also often scribbled near it.. Though to be honest, I have two symbols for women, one is a representation of the "lady lumps" and the other looks like a camels footprint in the sand..
