In principle, as an MRA, I have to agree with the criticism of the YWCA for this poster. It is subtle female communication aimed at pitting boys against boys - "Let's YOU and HIM fight".

And the fact that girls are told that they are 'Empowered' - You GO girl - when they disrespect and even hit boys, makes matter worse.

But the issue is complicated by another MRA stance.

Respect has to be earned.

By girls and by boys.

The role models paraded infront of our boys are apalling. I am bitterly disappointed at how we men do not stand up to the ruination of our boys.

I doubt that we can do much in the short term about the education industry's complete antipathy to boys but every time we see some thick-shit 'jock' football player being an arse and then advertising in the form of a 'revered' object, to boys, we MUST protest.

MEN must.

In Australia we are told we are 'sports mad'. We are the most sporting nation in the world, we claim. Men sit glued to their TVs watching it. Hardly anyone actually does it.

We have footy 'stars' on drugs, getting into brawls in nightclubs, getting falling-over pissed in public, being arrested for random acts of completely puerile fuckwittery, and then appearing as 'Heros' infront of young boys and drooling half-dressed girls. What a friggin' fiasco. Most cannot speak a sentence.

Our boys emulate this atrocious behaviour.

Even swimmers here act like louts.

Did you know that one of our Olympic team selection was dropped at the last minute for smashing another swimmer in the face sending him to hospital with such wounds that his face will never grace a sponsorship poster again? He got a lower 'sentence' than a friggin' woman would have.

Our most famed Cricketer is a serial potty mouth with the mobile phone texting, making lewed remarks to almost any women whose telephone number he gets. He cheats his sponsors and no-one whacks him for it. He was the highly paid 'Face' for stopping smoking a while back but was 'outed' when caught smoking behind the bike sheds like the naughty little schoolboy shite that he is. People defended him ! Friggin' amazing. Thick as a brick he is nevertheless Revered.

And rarely do we see a letter to the Editor in any newspaper condemning these louts. They are National Heros.

Not only do they not earn real respect as Men, they get applauded for being 'lads' and paid phenominal amounts of money to boot. Inauthentic respect for insuthentic men. What a role model.

How can we expect our boys to learn that respect is earned when 'celebrity' and fakery is dangled infront of them as a substitute?

We have at least three female-oriented cable channels (Lifetime, WE
and Oxygen). Many, if not most, news programs are co-anchored by two women ... hell, just do a head-count on every one of them, and you'll find more female personnel than male. They've even started to try getting away with women sports announcers whenever possible, giving them male names like Sam. Most male heroes are either subordinate to a woman or handicapped mentally, physically, or socially in some way (or both). This coming April, I think I'm going to participate in "Turn Off Your TV Day."

Why wait, turn it off now. I did that a few years ago and once the poison has lifted....you can only laugh when you catch a glimpse of it.

I can't believe that at one time, I would sit and stare into that box. I guess I just laugh because I am no longer trapped by it.

As for women networks, they practically have them all since the programming usually takes special care to push the usual stereotypes (man=bad, woman=good).

I guess women must be getting pretty desperate for male attention to run an ad like that. Maybe (and I don't know) little boys see girls as equal and therefore....see no reason to defend them. Maybe little boys see that girls are just as, if not more violent than boys are.

Oh well, isn't it cute though to see the YWCA reaching out for attention.

Manginas are the most pathetic excuses for masculinity on the planet.

Yet, they crop up everywhere we look.

They usually think they are scoring points with the other side, when they are simply being humoured as useful stooges.

I stand up to my buddies when they disrespect girls.

Creating disharmony amongst another generation of males to be combative with one another, whenever anything offends the little 'entitlement princess in training' is a destructive gynocentric circle which must be broken.

We are all responsible for teaching young boys about respect and healthy relationships.

The feminists at the YWCA should not be responsible for teaching young boys ANYTHING. Demanding respect only for females, when they themselves are behaving disrespectfully - is not conducive to healthy relationships by any means!

I wonder when are we going to see the YMCA running an ad stating "I stand up to my friends when they disrespect boys" as a counterbalance?

Encourage males to fight each other over you. Use every provocation, every stimulus, every lie, and every dirty trick in your well-stocked arsenal to do so. Once you have got them started, stand well back and watch the boneheads knock each other to pieces. Then make off with the winner, leaving the loser bleeding in the dust.

However many coats of veneer are placed over them, at bottom women are very primitive - and transparent - creatures.

What is needed is a counter-action. We need to teach boys to stand up to manginas and draw hitler moustaches on all feminazi propaganda posters.

Every graffit artist can whip up the "Fighting Foul Feminazi Freaks" symbol with his every-handy pocket marker pen in a few seconds..
