I can't tell you how frustrating it is to ask of members for relatively simple things that will ultimately support the site only to be repeatedly let down by no-shows.

"Very" is an understatement.

I'm moving on.

No, that doesn't mean I won't post anymore - but I'm going to change my approach on AM quite drastically.

I NEED to see more people putting a bit more than a few taps of the keyboard to say "yeah, I agree" once or twice a day.

If YOU want to actually see an end to misandry - then do something. Don't stop posting, no, that's not what I'm saying.. But many of you have talents that could be used - and you're not doing so. And in turn, this site slowly stagnates. If you want this place to keep alive, help it keep alive. Posts aren't all it needs.

I can't believe I asked for such simple help as a handful of icons to be created and here we are four weeks later... empty handed. Not even one icon has materialized.

I know, I know... some of you are doing other things and whatever... but really guys... c'mon!

Marx, I'm sorry; I know I'm one of those who has let you down in the past.

Rather than say I'll do icons, I've simply gone ahead and done some, so that others can improve on them or - better yet - work on others. They are all 48x48 png. For some of these, I have larger versions I can send to anyone wanting to work on them.

Polls

Sometimes, the biggest issue is coming up with a concept, much more than producing the graphic. For Burnout, I wanted to have a man with his head in his hands but I'm not a good enough artist to do that from scratch and couldn't find anything to adapt. What I came up with for polls could be used for chit-chat instead but that would still leave a conundrum of what to do for polls.

Potential and a seed unnutured, are they not the same? Potential is like a plant that, when malnourished, eventually withers and dies. The parallel between the cease of development of this site due to the lack of effective use of the talents of the members of this site and the underdevelopment of one's talent due to not applying one's self is alarming. Perhaps, this tells us more about ourselves than we had even realized. Perhaps, AM will only grow in quality as much as we, the members, do. Maybe the connection between this site's growth and our own personal growth is stronger than we know.

I notice the new forum page layout has 38x38 graphics. Does that mean you need all of them converted into 38 x 38 pixels, or will you be changing the software?
