The choice of hammer though is really quite telling for those of us who have taken the time to scratch the surface of feminism, only to find communism seething beneath. The victim mentality of oppressor versus oppressed is fully embraced by the two isms of feminism and communism. With both groups calling for quotas, larger government, and more restrictive controls - all to redress perceived past wrongs; the difference between the two for the initiated, thus becomes increasingly difficult to discern.

For many years, the militant lesbian-feminists (lesbian separatists) have used the labyris (an ancient axe used by the Amazons) as their symbol, too.

Nice they have the hammer on show, but watch out for the sickle tucked in the bra. They can whip it out and slice your balls off in a trice.

I've never seen a woman use a hammer the correct way yet.
Ever watched a woman try and drive a 3" nail in with a hammer that is obviously too small and hold the handle half-way along it's length.
If that was the right way to use a hammer, they wouldn't make hammer handles so long.

I use a hammer the right way. I do a lot of hammering around here to fix things, hang things, etc If I wait for my husband, it won't happen anytime soon. (hey, its true)

It's funny you should mention that, there was a survey done here about a year ago, that said that "many" men lack the skills to do simple DIY tasks.
This may be true for the few mangina's that they asked, but it could also be because of two other things:
a) Schools here (with the highest % of female teachers in the world) have started to drop classes like wood and metal shop for boys, in favour of more social studies classes.
Boys never do well in these classes, because they are essentially tailored to the female students, boys work best with thier hands, making things.
I find the dropping of these classes a direct slap in the face to our boys, considering that we are already desperately short of good tradesmen in this country.
b) The other reason why men may not be motivated to do any fix-it job's around the house, is because, what is the point?.
You either get told that what you are doing doesn't look right or (enter any other piece of female criticism here).
Finally, what is the point of doing up a house that may not even be yours in a couple of years anyway?.
