Relaunching "Men's Hour"

The BBC has a radio programme called Woman's Hour. Interestingly, I've noticed on the Woman's Hour message board, that threads requesting a "Men's Hour" programme, are posted frequently.

Here are two recent examples:

Men's Hour?

Are there any plans to have a Men's Hour?

Before anyone has a go at me for being sexist (I'm not.. I think women are great) I would point out that we have women on our messageboard and they have their own area for feminine debate and discussion, something that men don't have.

Men's Hour would be cheap (it could probably cover a similar amount of content in half the time) and provide a nice counter balance. It would encourage reasoned debate and focus on subjects which require a practical solution and which are applicable to all.

Thanks.
Men's Hour?

Well there's a Woman's Hour; shouldn't there be a Mens' Hour?
As some MRAs will know, up until 2003, an excellent internet radio show called "Men's Hour" did exist.

Episodes of the show are still available to download on the "Men's Hour" website.

My thought is this - if MRAs were to work together and create a new "Men's Hour" internet radio programme, we could potentially reach a very big audience.

There is certainly demand for such a programme. Most of the threads on the Woman's Hour forum requesting a "Men's Hour", were not posted by MRAs - they were posted by people who are simply frustrated with men's issues being overlooked.

What are your thoughts?

Re: Relaunching "Men's Hour"

You can submit that idea to the Men's Rights Conference.

Equal results based on unequal treatment amounts to no kind of equality at all. ~
