SYGAPA is organizing an International Conference at Drama city, Greece at 3-5 January, 2009. Deadline for abstracts is 30 September, 2008. Deadline for final submittions (texts and posters) is due to 30 November 2008. Official language of the Conference is English. Speakers can use other languages like Fench, Italian, German or Greek but it is required to submit an English abstract.
Fees:
Oral speakers: 100 Euro
Conference proceedings: 50 Euro
Students: 50 Euro

Regarding the list of people who will be attending, it seems to be some sort of provisional list. Perhaps these are the people who the organizers are hoping will take part. Peter Zohrab himself is on the list but I have been told that he is not going to be attending. It is mostly because of the expense because he has stated that he would very much like to attend otherwise. It would be interesting to know whether the organizers would accept contributions from MRAs who cannot attend (vlogs, opinion polls, research, etc). I will see if I can find anything out about this.
I also notice the name Teri Stoddard as a potential to take part in the conference. While it states that she is from the UK, I'm sure it is a misprint and means the excellent fathers rights campaigner Teri Stoddard from the USA. I hope Teri can make it. And although the spelling is a little different I'm sure that another person that might possibly attend is one of the world's most respected medical academics, Professor Robert Winstone. It would be great if some of these people can take part.
