I found this on the Writers Weekly message board:
Verbally abused men Quote:
I have some friends who are verbally abused and either don't realize it or know what to do about it so I decided to look for a book or article about the subject and came up blank. I've decided to employ my time better and write an article, or series of articles or a book, about verbally abused men and I need examples from the real world. That means you.
If you are a verbally abused man who is either currently in such a relationship or has been in an abusive relationship and would be willing to answer some questions and talk about your story for inclusion in an article or book, please contact me at fixnwrtr@gmail.com. Initials only will be used and you will have to sign a release if your story is used.
If, however, you don't want your story to be used but still want to tell your story, please feel free to contact me and I'll only use your information as part of a statistical database.
This is your chance to speak up without fear of being labeled or maligned so you can help someone else recognize and change his situation and maybe his life.
As always...
