Reasons against a deliberate paternity
Signature Action NOW (see below)

Men have to consider many problems when confroted with the creation of a family. Unfortunately those problems get largely excluded by politics and society. If the declining birth rate is adressed action is often taken only on the maternal side and improvements are only realised for mothers. Often this is done even at the expense of the father.
The result: Between 1992 and 2005, the number of men who have no children, more than doubled (family Report 2005)

Instead of strenghtening fathers obstacles are laid in their way. The result is that children rates among men are still substantially lower than that of women.
In our work we encounter a lot of men who clearly say: "Never again such a thing." Even statements of divorce children - boys - were clearly in this direction.

No statistics are reflecting these voices, but they can be heard so clear that we can no longer neglect. Statistics are sober and dry. The action 1000xNo wants to show the faces behind the statistics. What is needed is not an anonymous protest against onerous conditions, but a "NO, I had my opposition to (more) children, because ..."

Each of these men signing this list, says explicitly that he likes to have (more) children, but actually had to decide against it, because at least one of the following reasons existed (a supplement can be formulated in the comment field).

We want NO signatures of people who generally want to protest against this grievance, but are not affected themselves! Also no protest signatures against grievance in GENERAL (little kindergarten places, poor schools, too little money for children ...). Own observations and comments are welcome in the commentary box. Spam, etc. and insulting comment is deleted.

Reasons against a deliberate father:

I agree with my signature that one of the following reasons existed for me and forced me / forces me not to have (another) child / children:

*

I fear separation and divorce and that my child becomes only one account movement for me.
*

I know of divorce cases where the father can not see his child because the mother is against it or have learned a lot from such cases
*

I am financially burdened through separation and divorce and can not afford to have a child with my new wife

* I have already been separated and divorced and as a father I feel left behind and without rights.

*

Men have to work more and longer as they are often the only breadwinner. There is also little opportunity for part-time work for me - I would hardly see my child anyway, even if the marriage does not get divorced
*

I do not want to marry and as an unmarried father I am completly at the mothers mercy (no custody, additional difficulties in dealing in the event of separation ...)
*

I am myself a child of divorced parents and have seen how fathers are threatened - I will save my children
* I earn too little and therefore only few women are interested in me.

*
Dealing with cuckoo fathers in this country has opened my eyes on how fathers and fatherhood is handled.

The aim is to get 1000 signatures and then to send them to the Ministry of Family Affairs. 1000 signatures are a high goal (even with the signature list on "paternity tests" they are extremely difficult to achieve). Advertising in any form needed (signature, linking...)

The idea for this action was born when I heard a separated FOUR YEAR OLD boy say that he never wants to marry and have children.

Sadly he didnīt get the 1000 signatures. But I really like the idea. What do you think?

The men's and fathers' movement needs to make sure it never sees females as the enemy,
but only misandry--whether from females or from males.
If not, we'll become like the bigoted feminists that this movement was formed to oppose.
