The "Code"..
During the year of 2009, some debate has gone on regarding the merits of developing a "code" that could be used by folk to help promote unity, reduce the risk of divisiveness that affects the movement badly, and generally, promote good practice for activists of the cause..
The following poll is asking for opinions on this, and it is requested that future discussion on the code be focused in this thread for ease of referrence, moderation, etc..

Re: The "Code"..
It was started with the intent of a 'code' to replace Chivalry, but I like your ideas about cohesion as well.
Keeping them all together with a moderator who can 'strip' away the flim-flam and digressions, (after a 'digest' period) enabling a focus to emerge, would be a good thing too.

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. “

Re: The "Code"..
There are many destractions in the cause and many disagreements, but there is definately a strong sense of a common direction in quite a few key areas.
I personally think that the differences are petty compared to the strength of feeling in common areas, but often too much attention is focused on minor differences which can be very damaging and destracting.
A code that could help to focus folk more on finding ways to progress the common aims and co-operate and communicate effectively would be very useful I think if agreement can be found.
I think it is possible, if folk can have faith and don't expect too much in the initial stages, which are critical to start the development of something effective.

Re: The "Code"..
There is a lot of pressure coming from forces outside the moment to drive men from cooperation, despite so much in common. Not all is from other MRAs!
