Steve from the equal parenting alliance (ex f4j ) has arranged a social meet in the
"Moon Under Water" Weatherspoons pub on Deansgate
    in Manchester.

In this photo Moon Under Water roughly here I think it's the one with
the red veranda on the NW side of the street in the centre.

Everyone welcome from 7pm onwards Monday 20th April. We will have an
(A4 size) F4J banner of some sort on the table to help anyone find us
if they may not recognise anyone.
its nothing other than a general social get together, to commerate 5 years since the "good old days", mainly for the ex-f4j lads and ladies, but the open to others who want to meet a few other like-minded folk!

    See you there folk!!

Put a pint of Newcastle Brown in the middle of the table and sing a song of Sir Percy, who will be there in spirit.

Make it two pints. One for Old Amfortas too.

Re: any ex f4j activists from the mancs/liverpool/yorkshire area? meet 20th april 7 p

Was good to meet the lads again!

Several folk were notably absent, (not for any suspicious/anti-social reasons, they were just indisposed!) but it was still a good turnout and although there is no "f4j" as such anymore, it shows that there is still a possibility to rally like-minded folk, even FNF members (who take a different approach to f4j in their capaigning and are still going strong and provide many useful services to thier membership) came along to what was merely a social gathering of friends in effect..

I learned a few interesting things about possible opportunities for activism etc. and hopefully will be able to assist in helping one or two of the lads in getting to the trial in newcastle, which I hope to make an appearance at (though I am pretty pressed for time in the next few weeks, which sometimes happens, I like to do what I can to support those brave fellows who put themselves on the front line, at high personal cost, for us all!)

How did the drink / meet-up go?

The most offensive thing you can do to a feminist is treat her with FULL equality.
Wife : "I dreamt they were auctioning off dicks. The big ones went for ten dollars and the thick ones went for twenty dollars."
Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

I think I am unique in the fact that I have been banned from every version of f4j that has ever existed!

They have their own ways of working.. I guess it makes sense to them!

Personally, I can support them, but they make life unnecessarily hard for themselves I think!
