Woman charged with stabbing boyfriend with a fork

A Pearl Street woman was arrested tonight after she allegedly
jabbed her boyfriend in the face with a fork.

Janice White, 49, of 13 Pearl St., was charged with assault and
battery with a dangerous weapon, and was being held on $540
cash bail. She is expected to be arraigned tomorrow in Dudley
District Court.

Police said that around 6:30 p.m., police went to Ms. White's
Pearl Street home for a reported disturbance and her boyfriend
came outside with cuts all over his face. He told police she
jabbed him with a fork after an argument between the two got out of control.

Police said the man refused medical treatment. Police found Ms. White hiding in a closet on the first floor of the building.

Sgt. Michael Shaw, along with Officers James Young Jr. and Donald Southall investigated the call.
