From the Daily Mail: Mother who killed her own baby by throwing him to the ground walks free from court

My very first time to see abuse of a child from a mother was at 16 when my youngest sister of 6 years old was in hospital for being hit by a car while walking to the bus stop to go to school.

There was a baby in the ward who had severe burns.

The mother was crying and to seemed to be screaming outside the ward. She was not allowed near here baby.

It seemed, ... hard to explain what it seemed like. It was chaotic and bizarre.

But then I heard that the baby had been burnt in the bath. It was really bad burns. How sad I felt for the mother. I thought they were trying to confort the mother.

But then I learnt the baby was burnt from the waist down. The staff said that the mother had placed the baby in hot water in the bath. That it was not an accident.

To witness all this has made my heart understand.

I don't ask for men to understand. I don't ask for men to be forgiving or to stop wanting rights.

But I would LIKE for them to understand that the next generation of mothers have all these rights the last generation of women fought for but no tools on how to cope.

The next generation isn't even allowed to deal with anything that is a negative because it may reflect on the fight for rights.

Women lose in this war.

What surprises me is the article hasn't blamed a man.

They never run out of f*cked up excuses. You don´t have to go to prison because you are depressive and regret what you have done. WTF?!?
