'A woman who beat her five-year-old daughter to death while trying to get her to memorise a poem has been spared jail by a court.
Tan Hongying, from Beijing, was sentenced to three years in prison by a court in eastern Zhejiang province on Tuesday — but the sentence was suspended and she was instead given five years probation, the Beijing Morning News reports.
The report did not say why the court in the city of Jiashan handed down such a light sentence.'

Stupid assholes, if a man had done this he'd be on death row no questions asked, maybe because this took place in china where there is a fucked up ratio of men to women and also that there is such an over population problem over in china they judge over there decied it would be in the the *Best Intrests* of socity that she should be spared jail and also that it was a little girl who was killed instead of a boy that is why the judge was more leient in this case.

All in all I'd like to be left alone with this bitch with a spiked baseball bat for about ten minutes.
