The headline is pretty misleading, reading the article carefully you see that what was covered in feces was the sidewalk and not the child: "Police report her diaper was full and feces were on the sidewalk where she was sitting."

The headline is pretty misleading, reading the article carefully you see that what was covered in feces was the sidewalk and not the child: "Police report her diaper was full and feces were on the sidewalk where she was sitting."
Fair enough. But did you also notice how this line; "She is charged with attempt to commit child abuse or neglect and booked into the city jail." is just as "misleading"?
If the child was as they say, how can she be charged with "attempting to commit child abuse"? Seriously. It IS child abuse. She should be charged WITH child abuse, not "attempting to commit".

How the hell can you "attempt" to neglect your child? An attempt at neglecting something IS neglect.
And who is David Fox? Husband? Brother? Long lost cousin? Apparently it's not the father. Or if he was there was no reference to the man as such.
Anyways, neglect is the issue, and according to the report the living conditions should be considered abuse.

TMOTS, Bmiricle you both make very good and valid points, but the *Atempted* abuse/negelct charge is just a lame, shit ass excuse to so called *punish* a women for abusing/negelct a child, if it had been a man who had done this he would not only be charge to the *full* exsent of the *law* but he would have been publicly lambasted in MSM as an *evil man* and all that retarted femanazi bullshit.
When the femanazis tell me it's their way or the highway I tell them to fuck off and die, because at lest the highway leads to new and intresting places, their ways is a dead end.
To expand further on the misleading headline... was it animal faeces on the pavement, or faecal-matter from an over-full diaper that had leaked onto the pavement, hence the headline she was covered in it?
In fact, the line prior seems to reinforce that the child was literally 'covered' in faeces as it states:
Although the next paragraph does state that the sidewalk also had faeces on it, the above line strongly suggests it is referencing the child - not the sidewalk. If it were referencing the side walk it would have included the words 'which was', ie:The woman reported she located the girl sitting on the sidewalk, "covered in feces." After calling police she ran for a blanket and coat to cover the child. The woman reported she located the girl sitting on the sidewalk which was "covered in feces."
