KINGSTON, ONT. — Four people, including the victim's ex-girlfriend, are in custody charged with kidnapping and forcible confinement after a Kingston man was grabbed at his home, confined and beaten.
Police say four people turned up at victim's home on Nov. 29 and forced him into a vehicle.
They then allegedly drove him to Belleville, Ont., punching him repeatedly along the way.
There he was assaulted again overnight and forced to clean the apartment with the threat he'd be beaten with a baseball bat.
The victim was freed when he managed to talk to his current girlfriend on the phone, who called police.
Poor man, hopefully he's okay now.
