Yeah, my ex wasn't abusive herself, but she would allow her own mother to abuse the kids. After moving several thousand miles to live over by her parents, we ended up livign there for about a year. During that time, I saw my step children being dragged around in a headlock, kicked, dog-tins thrown at the head, made to go outside and run in the freezing/windy weathers, and a lot more. Trying to stop it got me nowhere. The ex would defend her mother's abuses or simply turn a blind eye to them. I talked to the CPS, I talked with my stepson's therapist and doctors, and anyone I thought *might* listen. Yet, no one did. They simply were not interested in hearing about a woman, an old woman at that, abusing the children. I'm sure if I had said 'grandad' instead of 'grandma', they'd have jumped at the chance to do something.

I recently spilled the beans on my ex to some of her friends in a bit of frustration, and naturally all I heard back from them was things like "I'm sure she's changed now... You seem to have unresolved issues..." and so on. Truly pathetic how women can defend one another - even as they abuse their children (or, in this case, allow their own mother to abuse their children).

Later, I was on YIM with my ex and even she openly admitted, if I'd been a woman talking about the abuses (i.e. she & I swapped positions), it would have been endless sympathy from those same women. I explained I wasn't after their sympathy (I'm long beyond that stage), but just making the observation of how they (her female friends) treated the sexes very differently. I doubt it will sink into their thick skulls though, as far as they're concerned she's ok because she's a woman and can do no wrong.

Marx, your story is very frustrating to read being that I'm a parent myself.

The typical argument I hear when I recount stories like these to ANYONE be it brainwashed men or feminist indoctrinated women is
"Well men are stronger"

It's an automatic response that comes out when they have nothing left to grasp.

Like that changes the fact that these women are hurting people mentally and physically. I guess it's supposed to make me feel grateful? WTF? When I hear that now after hearing it so many times...it makes my blood boil and I just shut up after that. Yeah it's true...men are stronger than women in general. SO f***ing what?! How does that change the fact that this woman beat kids, or raped them, or murdered them, or mentally abused them? It's supposed to make me take solace in the fact that 'at least its a woman doing it' which makes everything better?!?! How does it change ANYTHING!?! I guess what they are saying is that women do no harm because they are weak. Boy...my black eye looked pretty real and felt pretty real. The welts on our children look pretty painful. The hammer that was raised over her head looked pretty menacing to me!

Especially since as men we are not allowed to defend ourselves or our children with our "strength", how does that quote "men are stronger" make any difference today?

They dont ever take responsibility for their disgusting behaviour. And their is an unwillingness for society to ever ask them to.. It must be the case that society accepts female weakness as a fact, their inability to self-control, their inferior, animalistic natures in these areas..
