You don't have to be at home for domestic violence to happen but let's not muddy the waters by mentioning it.
Here is an article that leaves it out altogether.
I don't know who wrote this news report but clearly they were short of space. Not much detail included, let alone any 'human understanding' element.

"He was subsequently transferred to Leeds General Infirmary and is currently in a stable but critical condition."
Staci Hargreaves, 33, from Stalybridge, Cheshire, has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Maybe it was a squeamish feminist writer, or a 'mz ordinaire' on job experience, or even a magina with a female editor and a set of editorial guidelines as strange as MND's.
But whoever, they need some help to capture the zeitgist and the female readers with some human interest and emotion, so let's give it a bit of editorial zip.
Stiletto sorts out violent man
Thursday, February 11 09:29 am
A woman has appeared in court charged by the oppresive patriarchy with wounding after a man was stabbed through the eye with a stiletto heel.
Gavin Taylor, 28, is in hospital after the incident last Sunday instead of prison where he belongs.
He sustained the injury in the back of a taxi while travelling home from a night out in Huddersfield with his courageous and outraged girlfriend who had responded to his psychological violence with some empowered defence.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "At around 2am on Sunday, police received reports of a serious assault which occurred in a vehicle travelling through Huddersfield town centre.
"A 28-year-old man had violently criticised the brave young woman that he was taking home to sexually assualt and rape and who knows what else and the comments about her eye-shadow was the last straw in a saga that had started months before and throughout their exploitative relationship. He was struck to the head when his insults had almost broken her spirit and taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
"He was subsequently transferred to Leeds General Infirmary and is currently in a stable but still critical condition."
Staci Hargreaves, 33, from Stalybridge, Cheshire, has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, in a travesty of insult added to the already serious injury to her self-esteem.
She appeared at Huddersfield Magistrates' Court on Tuesday where she was automatically granted bail to appear at Bradford Crown Court on February 16.
Police said the stiletto which she had bravely struggled to remove from her foot after repeated and intense criticisms which had not been confined to her cosmetic enhancements but was also aimed at her push-up bra that peeked naughtily from her close fitting, figure-hugging top, penetrated the eye socket and touched the perpertrators's brain. It will likely make an improvement to the dorkish yob, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Phht nothing new here, most likely this bitch will get a slap on the wrist and a mendal from the femanazis.
This is just one of the many reasons why I hate women, a lady would never have done just a barabaric thing just because she and her man friend where have a disagreement, who here wants to bet that this was over something trival.
Women are always going off half cocked over something minor
When the femanazis tell me it's their way or the highway I tell them to fuck off and die, because at lest the highway leads to new and intresting places, their ways is a dead end.
