It's interesting how the British police have adopted a paramilitary dress code, that is, they are dressed in all black regalia. The intent being to deliberately intimidate. Now, i'm not a psycologist but i'm sure adopting this colour code only but distances the police from the public they are supposed to serve.

Indeed, but in turn the public must never allow themselves to be dehumanized lest we lose a grip on humanity itself. The people are the moral conscience, the state cannot be trusted with this duty.

I have no idea why these police are beating the man.

The use of force is sometimes necessary but has to be justified.

Remember Rodney King? He was beaten on camera too. By MEN police.

They were called to account as should these women be.

Obviously this case itself isn't about race, but when it comes to sentencing we need to remember that studies show black female criminals get additional female sentencing discount compared to white females. Conversely, black male criminals would face additional punishment on top of the already lengthy sentences imposed on your average white male.

in other words, the odds of them receiving an appropriate sentence are pretty slim, especially considering we're looking at a male vicitm here. The only positive aspect is that at t least the women attacked a stranger rather than someone they were in a relationship with. Had it been a dv case with the same injuries then they wouldn't have even been arrested never mind put on trial.
