Indeed, there is far worse on any given night on the brainwash-box, but I would like for a younger person to be able to come here and see we're a bunch of folks with some level of self-control. I'm not inferring anyone who curses is incapable of self-control, but when a rant is peppered in swearing, it certainly impacts the perception of the reader, usually negatively.
I'd like that if any parent did come along for a read of what their Son might be reading, they can see that we are interacting in a mature manner and not simply angry folks.
