This kind of thing happens simply because it can. There are women like this everywhere and there is no doubt about that. The only way that this kind of thing will stop is if western society starts to punish people who engage in this type of behavior. However, we have overidealized women to the point that they essencialy have carte banch when it comes to children and the family. Not a good thing!
