Well a lot of men of the old guard are like that, but in general it's also cause a lot of men simply don't voice their grievances and issues out in the public.
Many guys are also waiting for something to clearly take the lead in this respect that they can support. There's currently no big organization or powerful person (group) with political influence who publicly stands up for men's rights.
